I the LORD have spoken it. EZEKIEL 6 3 And say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a SWORD upon you, and I will destroy your high places. 8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the SWORD among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries. 11 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the SWORD, by the famine, and by the pestilence. 12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the SWORD; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them. EZEKIEL 7 15 The SWORD is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the SWORD; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him. EZEKIEL 11 8 Ye have feared the SWORD; and I will bring a SWORD upon you, saith the Lord GOD. 10 Ye shall fall by the SWORD; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 21 3 And say to the land of Israel, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I am against thee, and will draw forth my SWORD out of his sheath, and will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked. 4 Seeing then that I will cut off from thee the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my SWORD go forth out of his sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: 5 That all flesh may know that I the LORD have drawn forth my SWORD out of his sheath: it shall not return any more. 9 Son of man, prophesy, and say, Thus saith the LORD; Say, A SWORD, a SWORD is sharpened, and also furbished: 11 And he hath given it to be furbished, that it may be handled: this SWORD is sharpened, and it is furbished, to give it into the hand of the slayer. 12 Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors by reason of the SWORD shall be upon my people: smite therefore upon thy thigh. 13 Because it is a trial, and what if the SWORD contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD. 14 Thou therefore, son of man, prophesy, and smite thine hands together. and let the SWORD be doubled the third time, the SWORD of the slain: it is the SWORD of the great men that are slain, which entereth into their privy chambers. 15 I have set the point of the SWORD against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter. 19 Also, thou son of man, appoint thee two ways, that the SWORD of the king of Babylon may come: both twain shall come forth out of one land: and choose thou a place, choose it at the head of the way to the city. 20 Appoint a way, that the SWORD may come to Rabbath of the Ammonites, and to Judah in Jerusalem the defenced. 28 And thou, son of man, prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning the Ammonites, and concerning their reproach; even say thou, The SWORD, the SWORD is drawn: for the slaughter it is furbished, to consume because of the glittering: EZEKIEL 23 10 These discovered her nakedness: they took her sons and her daughters, and slew her with the SWORD: and she became famous among women; for they had executed judgment upon her. 25 And I will set my jealousy against thee, and they shall deal furiously with thee: they shall take away thy nose and thine ears; and thy remnant shall fall by the SWORD: they shall take thy sons and thy daughters; and thy residue shall be devoured by the fire. EZEKIEL 24 21 Speak unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the excellency of your strength, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pitieth; and your sons and your daughters whom ye have left shall fall by the SWORD. EZEKIEL 25 13 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the SWORD. EZEKIEL 26 6 And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the SWORD; and they shall know that I am the LORD. 8 He shall slay with the SWORD thy daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against thee, and cast a mount against thee, and lift up the buckler against thee. 11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the SWORD, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 28 23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the SWORD upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 29 8 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a SWORD upon thee, and cut off man and beast out of thee. EZEKIEL 30 4 And the SWORD shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down. 5 Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the SWORD. 6 Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the SWORD, saith the Lord GOD. 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. 17 The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the SWORD: and these cities shall go into captivity. 21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the SWORD. 22 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the SWORD to fall out of his hand. 24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my SWORD in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man. 25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my SWORD into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt. --MORE-- |
