ISAIAH 17 2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. ISAIAH 19 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be AFRAID and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be AFRAID in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. ISAIAH 20 5 And they shall be AFRAID and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. ISAIAH 31 4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be AFRAID of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his princes shall be AFRAID of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. ISAIAH 32 18 And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting PLACES; ISAIAH 33 14 The sinners in Zion are AFRAID; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? ISAIAH 36 7 But if thou say to me, We trust in the LORD our God: is it not he, whose high PLACES and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and said to Judah and to Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar? ISAIAH 37 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 25 I have digged, and drunk water; and with the sole of my feet have I dried up all the rivers of the besieged PLACES. ISAIAH 40 4 Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough PLACES plain: 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! ISAIAH 41 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 18 I will open rivers in high PLACES, and fountains in the midst of the valleys: I will make the wilderness a pool of water, and the dry land springs of water. ISAIAH 44 8 Fear ye not, neither be AFRAID: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. 26 That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed PLACES thereof: ISAIAH 45 2 I will go before thee, and make the crooked PLACES straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: 3 And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret PLACES, that thou mayest know that I, the LORD, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. ISAIAH 49 9 That thou mayest say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Shew yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high PLACES. 19 For thy waste and thy desolate PLACES, and the land of thy destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed thee up shall be far away. ISAIAH 51 3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste PLACES; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody. 7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye AFRAID of their revilings. 12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be AFRAID of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; ISAIAH 52 9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste PLACES of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed Jerusalem. ISAIAH 57 11 And of whom hast thou been AFRAID or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? ISAIAH 58 12 And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste PLACES: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in. 14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high PLACES of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. ISAIAH 59 10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate PLACES as dead men. ISAIAH 61 10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride ADORNETH herself with her jewels. JEREMIAH 1 8 Be not AFRAID of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 2 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 3 2 Lift up thine eyes unto the high PLACES, and see where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness. 21 A voice was heard upon the high PLACES, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God. JEREMIAH 4 11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high PLACES in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse, 12 Even a full wind from those PLACES shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them. JEREMIAH 5 1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and see now, and know, and seek in the broad PLACES thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it. JEREMIAH 7 29 Cut off thine hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high PLACES; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath. 31 And they have built the high PLACES of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart. JEREMIAH 8 3 And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of them that remain of this evil family, which remain in all the PLACES whither I have driven them, saith the LORD of hosts. JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. JEREMIAH 12 12 The spoilers are come upon all high PLACES through the wilderness: for the sword of the LORD shall devour from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh shall have peace. JEREMIAH 13 17 But if ye will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret PLACES for your pride; and mine eye shall weep sore, and run down with tears, because the LORD's flock is carried away captive. JEREMIAH 14 6 And the wild asses did stand in the high PLACES, they snuffed up the wind like dragons; their eyes did fail, because there was no grass. JEREMIAH 17 3 O my mountain in the field, I will give thy substance and all thy treasures to the spoil, and thy high PLACES for sin, throughout all thy borders. 6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched PLACES in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 26 And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the PLACES about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and meat offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD. JEREMIAH 19 5 They have built also the high PLACES of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spake it, neither came it into my mind: JEREMIAH 23 10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant PLACES of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right. 24 Can any hide himself in secret PLACES that I shall not see him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. --MORE-- |
