NUMBERS 9 14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: ye shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that WAS born in the land. 15 And on the day that the tabernacle WAS reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there WAS upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning. 16 So it WAS alway: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night. 17 And when the cloud WAS taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents. 20 And so it WAS, when the cloud WAS a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed. 21 And so it WAS, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud WAS taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it WAS by day or by night that the cloud WAS taken up, they journeyed. 22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it WAS taken up, they journeyed. NUMBERS 10 11 And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud WAS taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony. 14 In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host WAS Nahshon the son of Amminadab. 15 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar WAS Nethaneel the son of Zuar. 16 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun WAS Eliab the son of Helon. 17 And the tabernacle WAS taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle. 18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host WAS Elizur the son of Shedeur. 19 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon WAS Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai. 20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad WAS Eliasaph the son of Deuel. 22 And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host WAS Elishama the son of Ammihud. 23 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh WAS Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur. 24 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin WAS Abidan the son of Gideoni. 25 And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which WAS the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host WAS Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai. 26 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher WAS Pagiel the son of Ocran. 27 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali WAS Ahira the son of Enan. 34 And the cloud of the LORD WAS upon them by day, when they went out of the camp. NUMBERS 11 1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger WAS kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. 2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire WAS quenched. 4 And the mixt multitude that WAS among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat? 7 And the manna WAS as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium. 8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it WAS as the taste of fresh oil. 10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD WAS kindled greatly; Moses also WAS displeased. 18 And say thou unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow, and ye shall eat flesh: for ye have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it WAS well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and ye shall eat. 25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spake unto him, and took of the spirit that WAS upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease. 26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one WAS Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp. 33 And while the flesh WAS yet between their teeth, ere it WAS chewed, the wrath of the LORD WAS kindled against the people, and the LORD smote the people with a very great plague. NUMBERS 12 3 (Now the man Moses WAS very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.) 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not AFRAID to speak against my servant Moses? 9 And the anger of the LORD WAS kindled against them; and he departed. 10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she WAS leprous. 15 And Miriam WAS shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam WAS brought in again. NUMBERS 13 20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be ye of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time WAS the time of the firstripe grapes. 22 And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron WAS built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) 24 The place WAS called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence. NUMBERS 14 16 Because the LORD WAS not able to bring this people into the land which he sware unto them, therefore he hath slain them in the wilderness. NUMBERS 15 34 And they put him in ward, because it WAS not declared what should be done to him. NUMBERS 16 15 And Moses WAS very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them. 31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that WAS under them: 42 And it came to pass, when the congregation WAS gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared. 47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague WAS begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people. 48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague WAS stayed. 50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague WAS stayed. NUMBERS 17 6 And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron WAS among their rods. 8 And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi WAS budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. --MORE-- |
