JEREMIAH 7 33 And the carcases of this people shall be MEAT for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away. JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. JEREMIAH 16 4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcases shall be MEAT for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. JEREMIAH 17 26 And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and MEAT offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD. JEREMIAH 19 7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcases will I give to be MEAT for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth. JEREMIAH 26 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 30 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 33 18 Neither shall the priests the Levites want a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle MEAT offerings, and to do sacrifice continually. JEREMIAH 34 20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for MEAT unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth. JEREMIAH 36 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. JEREMIAH 38 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. LAMENTATIONS 1 11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for MEAT to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. 19 I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the ghost in the city, while they sought their MEAT to relieve their souls. LAMENTATIONS 4 10 The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their MEAT in the destruction of the daughter of my people. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 4 10 And thy MEAT which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it. EZEKIEL 16 19 My MEAT also which I gave thee, fine flour, and oil, and honey, wherewith I fed thee, thou hast even set it before them for a sweet savour: and thus it was, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 29 5 And I will leave thee thrown into the wilderness, thee and all the fish of thy rivers: thou shalt fall upon the open fields; thou shalt not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given thee for MEAT to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 34 5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became MEAT to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. 8 As I live, saith the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became MEAT to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock; 10 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be MEAT for them. 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 39 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 42 13 Then said he unto me, The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they be holy chambers, where the priests that approach unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things: there shall they lay the most holy things, and the MEAT offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering; for the place is holy. EZEKIEL 44 29 They shall eat the MEAT offering, and the sin offering, and the trespass offering: and every dedicated thing in Israel shall be theirs. EZEKIEL 45 15 And one lamb out of the flock, out of two hundred, out of the fat pastures of Israel; for a MEAT offering, and for a burnt offering, and for peace offerings, to make reconciliation for them, saith the Lord GOD. 17 And it shall be the prince's part to give burnt offerings, and MEAT offerings, and drink offerings, in the feasts, and in the new moons, and in the sabbaths, in all solemnities of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin offering, and the MEAT offering, and the burnt offering, and the peace offerings, to make reconciliation for the house of Israel. 24 And he shall prepare a MEAT offering of an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and an hin of oil for an ephah. 25 In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, shall he do the like in the feast of the seven days, according to the sin offering, according to the burnt offering, and according to the MEAT offering, and according to the oil. EZEKIEL 46 5 And the MEAT offering shall be an ephah for a ram, and the MEAT offering for the lambs as he shall be able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 7 And he shall prepare a MEAT offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and for the lambs according as his hand shall attain unto, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 11 And in the feasts and in the solemnities the MEAT offering shall be an ephah to a bullock, and an ephah to a ram, and to the lambs as he is able to give, and an hin of oil to an ephah. 14 And thou shalt prepare a MEAT offering for it every morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third part of an hin of oil, to temper with the fine flour; a MEAT offering continually by a perpetual ordinance unto the LORD. 15 Thus shall they prepare the lamb, and the MEAT offering, and the oil, every morning for a continual burnt offering. 20 Then said he unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass offering and the sin offering, where they shall bake the MEAT offering; that they bear them not out into the utter court, to sanctify the people. EZEKIEL 47 12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for MEAT, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for MEAT, and the leaf thereof for medicine. DANIEL 1 5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's MEAT, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king. 8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king's MEAT, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. 10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your MEAT and your drink: for why should he see your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. 13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's MEAT: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants. 15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's MEAT. 16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their MEAT, and the wine that they should drink; and gave them pulse. --MORE-- |
