PSALM 101 1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing. 2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. 3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me. 4 A froward heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person. 5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer. 8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD. PSALM 102 2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. 4 My heart is smitten, and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread. 6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert. 7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top. 9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping. 11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass. 24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations. PSALM 104 33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. 34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD. PSALM 105 11 Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: PSALM 106 5 That I may see the good of thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of thy nation, that I may glory with thine inheritance. PSALM 108 1 O God, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory. 2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early. 3 I will praise thee, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. 7 God hath spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth. 9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph. PSALM 109 4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. 22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me. 23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust. 25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads. 30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude. PSALM 110 1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. PSALM 111 1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation. PSALM 112 7 He shall not be AFRAID of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. 8 His heart is established, he shall not be AFRAID, until he see his desire upon his enemies. PSALM 116 1 I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. 2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. 3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. 4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. 6 The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me. 9 I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living. 10 I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted: 11 I said in my haste, All men are liars. 12 What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? 13 I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD. 14 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people. 16 O LORD, truly I am thy servant; I am thy servant, and the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds. 17 I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. 18 I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people. PSALM 118 5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. 6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? 7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. 10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them. 11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them. 13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me. 17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. 19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: 21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation. 25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity. 28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee. --MORE-- |
