PSALM 120 1 In my distress I cried unto the LORD, and he heard me. 5 Woe is me, that I sojourn in Mesech, that I dwell in the tents of Kedar! 7 I am for peace: but when I speak, they are for war. PSALM 135 5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods. PSALM 137 5 If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning. 6 If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy. PSALM 139 6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot attain unto it. 7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? 8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well. 15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee. 21 Do not I hate them, O LORD, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee? 22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies. PSALM 140 6 I said unto the LORD, Thou art my God: hear the voice of my supplications, O LORD. 12 I know that the LORD will maintain the cause of the afflicted, and the right of the poor. PSALM 141 1 Lord, I cry unto thee: make haste unto me; give ear unto my voice, when I cry unto thee. 10 Let the wicked fall into their own nets, whilst that I withal escape. PSALM 142 1 I cried unto the LORD with my voice; with my voice unto the LORD did I make my supplication. 2 I poured out my complaint before him; I shewed before him my trouble. 3 When my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. In the way wherein I walked have they privily laid a snare for me. 4 I looked on my right hand, and beheld, but there was no man that would know me: refuge failed me; no man cared for my soul. 5 I cried unto thee, O LORD: I said, Thou art my refuge and my portion in the land of the living. 6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I. 7 Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me. --MORE-- |
