ISAIAH 19 11 Surely the PRINCES of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say ye unto Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the son of ancient kings? 13 The PRINCES of Zoan are become fools, the PRINCES of Noph are deceived; they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof. 16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be AFRAID and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shaketh over it. 17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that maketh mention thereof shall be AFRAID in himself, because of the counsel of the LORD of hosts, which he hath determined against it. ISAIAH 20 5 And they shall be AFRAID and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory. ISAIAH 21 5 Prepare the table, watch in the watchtower, eat, drink: arise, ye PRINCES, and anoint the shield. ISAIAH 23 8 Who hath taken this counsel against Tyre, the crowning city, whose merchants are PRINCES, whose traffickers are the honourable of the earth? ISAIAH 30 4 For his PRINCES were at Zoan, and his ambassadors came to Hanes. ISAIAH 31 4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be AFRAID of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. 9 And he shall pass over to his strong hold for fear, and his PRINCES shall be AFRAID of the ensign, saith the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem. ISAIAH 32 1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and PRINCES shall rule in judgment. ISAIAH 33 14 The sinners in Zion are AFRAID; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? ISAIAH 34 12 They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her PRINCES shall be nothing. ISAIAH 37 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say unto your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words that thou hast heard, wherewith the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. ISAIAH 40 9 O Zion, that bringest good tidings, get thee up into the high mountain; O Jerusalem, that bringest good tidings, lift up thy voice with strength; lift it up, be not AFRAID; say unto the cities of Judah, Behold your God! 23 That bringeth the PRINCES to nothing; he maketh the judges of the earth as vanity. ISAIAH 41 5 The isles saw it, and feared; the ends of the earth were AFRAID, drew near, and came. 25 I have raised up one from the north, and he shall come: from the rising of the sun shall he call upon my name: and he shall come upon PRINCES as upon morter, and as the potter treadeth clay. ISAIAH 43 28 Therefore I have profaned the PRINCES of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches. ISAIAH 44 8 Fear ye not, neither be AFRAID: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any. ISAIAH 49 7 Thus saith the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despiseth, to him whom the nation abhorreth, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, PRINCES also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose thee. ISAIAH 51 7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye AFRAID of their revilings. 12 I, even I, am he that comforteth you: who art thou, that thou shouldest be AFRAID of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass; ISAIAH 57 11 And of whom hast thou been AFRAID or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and thou fearest me not? ISAIAH 61 10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride ADORNETH herself with her jewels. JEREMIAH 1 8 Be not AFRAID of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD. 18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the PRINCES thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. JEREMIAH 2 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. 26 As the thief is ashamed when he is found, so is the house of Israel ashamed; they, their kings, their PRINCES, and their priests, and their prophets. JEREMIAH 4 9 And it shall come to pass at that day, saith the LORD, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the PRINCES; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder. JEREMIAH 8 1 At that time, saith the LORD, they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of his PRINCES, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves: JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. JEREMIAH 17 25 Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and PRINCES sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their PRINCES, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever. JEREMIAH 24 1 The LORD shewed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the PRINCES of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon. 8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus saith the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his PRINCES, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt: JEREMIAH 25 18 To wit, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the PRINCES thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day; 19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his PRINCES, and all his people; JEREMIAH 26 10 When the PRINCES of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house. 11 Then spake the priests and the prophets unto the PRINCES and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he hath prophesied against this city, as ye have heard with your ears. 12 Then spake Jeremiah unto all the PRINCES and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that ye have heard. 16 Then said the PRINCES and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God. 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the PRINCES, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 29 2 (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the PRINCES of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;) JEREMIAH 30 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 32 32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their PRINCES, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem. JEREMIAH 34 10 Now when all the PRINCES, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should serve themselves of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go. 19 The PRINCES of Judah, and the PRINCES of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf; 21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his PRINCES will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you. JEREMIAH 35 4 And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the PRINCES, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door: JEREMIAH 36 12 Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the PRINCES sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the PRINCES. 14 Therefore all the PRINCES sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them. 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 19 Then said the PRINCES unto Baruch, Go, hide thee, thou and Jeremiah; and let no man know where ye be. 21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the PRINCES which stood beside the king. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. --MORE-- |
