DANIEL 6 1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty PRINCES, which should be over the whole kingdom; 2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the PRINCES might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage. 3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and PRINCES, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole realm. 4 Then the presidents and PRINCES sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 6 Then these presidents and PRINCES assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. 7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the PRINCES, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of PRINCES; but he shall be broken without hand. DANIEL 9 6 Neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, which spake in thy name to our kings, our PRINCES, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land. 8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our PRINCES, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee. DANIEL 10 13 But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief PRINCES, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. DANIEL 11 5 And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his PRINCES; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion. 8 And shall also carry captives into Egypt their gods, with their PRINCES, and with their precious vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the north. HOSEA 5 10 The PRINCES of Judah were like them that remove the bound: therefore I will pour out my wrath upon them like water. HOSEA 7 3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the PRINCES with their lies. 5 In the day of our king the PRINCES have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners. 16 They return, but not to the most High: they are like a deceitful bow: their PRINCES shall fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this shall be their derision in the land of Egypt. HOSEA 8 4 They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made PRINCES, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off. 10 Yea, though they have hired among the nations, now will I gather them, and they shall sorrow a little for the burden of the king of PRINCES. HOSEA 9 15 All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their PRINCES are revolters. HOSEA 13 10 I will be thy king: where is any other that may save thee in all thy cities? and thy judges of whom thou saidst, Give me a king and PRINCES? JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. AMOS 1 15 And their king shall go into captivity, he and his PRINCES together, saith the LORD. AMOS 2 3 And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the PRINCES thereof with him, saith the LORD. AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. MICAH 3 1 And I said, Hear, I pray you, O heads of Jacob, and ye PRINCES of the house of Israel; Is it not for you to know judgment? 9 Hear this, I pray you, ye heads of the house of Jacob, and PRINCES of the house of Israel, that abhor judgment, and pervert all equity. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. NAHUM 2 11 Where is the dwelling of the lions, and the feedingplace of the young lions, where the lion, even the old lion, walked, and the lion's whelp, and none made them AFRAID? HABAKKUK 1 10 And they shall scoff at the kings, and the PRINCES shall be a scorn unto them: they shall deride every strong hold; for they shall heap dust, and take it. HABAKKUK 2 17 For the violence of Lebanon shall cover thee, and the spoil of beasts, which made them AFRAID, because of men's blood, and for the violence of the land, of the city, and of all that dwell therein. HABAKKUK 3 2 O LORD, I have heard thy speech, and was AFRAID: O LORD, revive thy work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make known; in wrath remember mercy. ZEPHANIAH 1 8 And it shall come to pass in the day of the LORD's sacrifice, that I will punish the PRINCES, and the king's children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel. ZEPHANIAH 3 3 Her PRINCES within her are roaring lions; her judges are evening wolves; they gnaw not the bones till the morrow. 13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them AFRAID. MALACHI 2 5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was AFRAID before my name. MATTHEW 2 6 And thou Bethlehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the PRINCES of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel. 22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was AFRAID to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: MATTHEW 14 27 But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not AFRAID. 30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was AFRAID; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
