DEUTERONOMY 8 1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the LAND which the LORD sware unto your fathers. 7 For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good LAND, a LAND of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; 8 A LAND of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a LAND of oil olive, and honey; 9 A LAND wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a LAND whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass. 10 When thou hast eaten and art full, then thou shalt bless the LORD thy God for the good LAND which he hath given thee. 14 Then thine heart be lifted up, and thou forget the LORD thy God, which brought thee forth out of the LAND of Egypt, from the house of bondage; DEUTERONOMY 9 4 Speak not thou in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out from before thee, saying, For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this LAND: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth drive them out from before thee. 5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their LAND: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 6 Understand therefore, that the LORD thy God giveth thee not this good LAND to possess it for thy righteousness; for thou art a stiffnecked people. 7 Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the LAND of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious against the LORD. 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. 23 Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the LAND which I have given you; then ye rebelled against the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. 28 Lest the LAND whence thou broughtest us out say, Because the LORD was not able to bring them into the LAND which he promised them, and because he hated them, he hath brought them out to slay them in the wilderness. DEUTERONOMY 10 7 From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a LAND of rivers of waters. 11 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the LAND, which I sware unto their fathers to give unto them. 19 Love ye therefore the stranger: for ye were strangers in the LAND of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 11 3 And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his LAND; 8 Therefore shall ye keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that ye may be strong, and go in and possess the LAND, whither ye go to possess it; 9 And that ye may prolong your days in the LAND, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a LAND that floweth with milk and honey. 10 For the LAND, whither thou goest in to possess it, is not as the LAND of Egypt, from whence ye came out, where thou sowedst thy seed, and wateredst it with thy foot, as a garden of herbs: 11 But the LAND, whither ye go to possess it, is a LAND of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: 12 A LAND which the LORD thy God careth for: the eyes of the LORD thy God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year. 14 That I will give you the rain of your LAND in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. 17 And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the LAND yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good LAND which the LORD giveth you. 21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the LAND which the LORD sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. 25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the LAND that ye shall tread upon, as he hath said unto you. 29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD thy God hath brought thee in unto the LAND whither thou goest to possess it, that thou shalt put the blessing upon mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal. 30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the LAND of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over against Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh? 31 For ye shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the LAND which the LORD your God giveth you, and ye shall possess it, and dwell therein. DEUTERONOMY 12 1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the LAND, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth. 10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the LAND which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety; 29 When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their LAND; DEUTERONOMY 13 5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the LAND of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee. 10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the LAND of Egypt, from the house of bondage. DEUTERONOMY 15 4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the LAND which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it: 7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy LAND which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother: 11 For the poor shall never cease out of the LAND: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy LAND. 15 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the LAND of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day. DEUTERONOMY 16 3 Thou shalt eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shalt thou eat unleavened bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for thou camest forth out of the LAND of Egypt in haste: that thou mayest remember the day when thou camest forth out of the LAND of Egypt all the days of thy life. 20 That which is altogether just shalt thou follow, that thou mayest live, and inherit the LAND which the LORD thy God giveth thee. DEUTERONOMY 17 14 When thou art come unto the LAND which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are about me; DEUTERONOMY 18 9 When thou art come into the LAND which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 19 1 When the LORD thy God hath cut off the nations, whose LAND the LORD thy God giveth thee, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their cities, and in their houses; 2 Thou shalt separate three cities for thee in the midst of thy LAND, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it. 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy LAND, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may flee thither. 8 And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and give thee all the LAND which he promised to give unto thy fathers; 10 That innocent blood be not shed in thy LAND, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance, and so blood be upon thee. 14 Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have set in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the LAND that the LORD thy God giveth thee to possess it. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the LAND of Egypt. --MORE-- |
