GENESIS 16 3 And Sarai Abram's wife took Hagar her maid the Egyptian, after Abram had dwelt ten years in the LAND of Canaan, and gave her to her husband Abram to be his wife. GENESIS 17 8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the LAND wherein thou art a stranger, all the LAND of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God. GENESIS 18 15 Then Sarah denied, saying, I laughed not; for she was AFRAID. And he said, Nay; but thou didst laugh. GENESIS 19 28 And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the LAND of the plain, and beheld, and, lo, the smoke of the country went up as the smoke of a furnace. GENESIS 20 8 Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore AFRAID. 15 And Abimelech said, Behold, my LAND is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee. GENESIS 21 21 And he dwelt in the wilderness of Paran: and his mother took him a wife out of the LAND of Egypt. 23 Now therefore swear unto me here by God that thou wilt not deal falsely with me, nor with my son, nor with my son's son: but according to the kindness that I have done unto thee, thou shalt do unto me, and to the LAND wherein thou hast sojourned. 32 Thus they made a covenant at Beersheba: then Abimelech rose up, and Phichol the chief captain of his host, and they returned into the LAND of the Philistines. 34 And Abraham sojourned in the Philistines' LAND many days. GENESIS 22 2 And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the LAND of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of. GENESIS 23 2 And Sarah died in Kirjatharba; the same is Hebron in the LAND of Canaan: and Abraham came to mourn for Sarah, and to weep for her. 7 And Abraham stood up, and bowed himself to the people of the LAND, even to the children of Heth. 12 And Abraham bowed down himself before the people of the LAND. 13 And he spake unto Ephron in the audience of the people of the LAND, saying, But if thou wilt give it, I pray thee, hear me: I will give thee money for the field; take it of me, and I will bury my dead there. 15 My lord, hearken unto me: the LAND is worth four hundred shekels of silver; what is that betwixt me and thee? bury therefore thy dead. 19 And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre: the same is Hebron in the LAND of Canaan. GENESIS 24 5 And the servant said unto him, Peradventure the woman will not be willing to follow me unto this LAND: must I needs bring thy son again unto the LAND from whence thou camest? 7 The LORD God of heaven, which took me from my father's house, and from the LAND of my kindred, and which spake unto me, and that sware unto me, saying, Unto thy seed will I give this LAND; he shall send his angel before thee, and thou shalt take a wife unto my son from thence. 37 And my master made me swear, saying, Thou shalt not take a wife to my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose LAND I dwell: GENESIS 26 1 And there was a famine in the LAND, beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went unto Abimelech king of the Philistines unto Gerar. 2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the LAND which I shall tell thee of: 3 Sojourn in this LAND, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father; 12 Then Isaac sowed in that LAND, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him. 22 And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the LAND. GENESIS 28 4 And give thee the blessing of Abraham, to thee, and to thy seed with thee; that thou mayest inherit the LAND wherein thou art a stranger, which God gave unto Abraham. 13 And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the LAND whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed; 15 And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this LAND; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of. 17 And he was AFRAID, and said, How dreadful is this place! this is none other but the house of God, and this is the gate of heaven. GENESIS 29 1 Then Jacob went on his journey, and came into the LAND of the people of the east. GENESIS 31 3 And the LORD said unto Jacob, Return unto the LAND of thy fathers, and to thy kindred; and I will be with thee. 13 I am the God of Bethel, where thou anointedst the pillar, and where thou vowedst a vow unto me: now arise, get thee out from this LAND, and return unto the LAND of thy kindred. 18 And he carried away all his cattle, and all his goods which he had gotten, the cattle of his getting, which he had gotten in Padanaram, for to go to Isaac his father in the LAND of Canaan. 31 And Jacob answered and said to Laban, Because I was AFRAID: for I said, Peradventure thou wouldest take by force thy daughters from me. GENESIS 32 3 And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother unto the LAND of Seir, the country of Edom. 7 Then Jacob was greatly AFRAID and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands; GENESIS 33 18 And Jacob came to Shalem, a city of Shechem, which is in the LAND of Canaan, when he came from Padanaram; and pitched his tent before the city. GENESIS 34 1 And Dinah the daughter of Leah, which she bare unto Jacob, went out to see the daughters of the LAND. 10 And ye shall dwell with us: and the LAND shall be before you; dwell and trade ye therein, and get you possessions therein. 21 These men are peaceable with us; therefore let them dwell in the LAND, and trade therein; for the LAND, behold, it is large enough for them; let us take their daughters to us for wives, and let us give them our daughters. 30 And Jacob said to Simeon and Levi, Ye have troubled me to make me to stink among the inhabitants of the LAND, among the Canaanites and the Perizzites: and I being few in number, they shall gather themselves together against me, and slay me; and I shall be destroyed, I and my house. GENESIS 35 6 So Jacob came to Luz, which is in the LAND of Canaan, that is, Bethel, he and all the people that were with him. 12 And the LAND which I gave Abraham and Isaac, to thee I will give it, and to thy seed after thee will I give the LAND. 22 And it came to pass, when Israel dwelt in that LAND, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father's concubine: and Israel heard it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve: GENESIS 36 5 And Aholibamah bare Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah: these are the sons of Esau, which were born unto him in the LAND of Canaan. 6 And Esau took his wives, and his sons, and his daughters, and all the persons of his house, and his cattle, and all his beasts, and all his substance, which he had got in the LAND of Canaan; and went into the country from the face of his brother Jacob. 7 For their riches were more than that they might dwell together; and the LAND wherein they were strangers could not bear them because of their cattle. 16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the LAND of Edom; these were the sons of Adah. 17 And these are the sons of Reuel Esau's son; duke Nahath, duke Zerah, duke Shammah, duke Mizzah: these are the dukes that came of Reuel in the LAND of Edom; these are the sons of Bashemath Esau's wife. 20 These are the sons of Seir the Horite, who inhabited the LAND; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, 21 And Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan: these are the dukes of the Horites, the children of Seir in the LAND of Edom. 30 Duke Dishon, duke Ezer, duke Dishan: these are the dukes that came of Hori, among their dukes in the LAND of Seir. 31 And these are the kings that reigned in the LAND of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel. 34 And Jobab died, and Husham of the LAND of Temani reigned in his stead. 43 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram: these be the dukes of Edom, according to their habitations in the LAND of their possession: he is Esau the father of the Edomites. --MORE-- |
