ZECHARIAH 7 12 Yea, they made their hearts as AN adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the LORD of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the LORD of hosts. ZECHARIAH 9 9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon AN ass, and upon a colt the foal of AN ass. 16 And the LORD their God shall save them in that day as the flock of his people: for they shall be as the stones of a crown, lifted up as AN ensign upon his land. ZECHARIAH 12 6 In that day will I make the governors of Judah like AN hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem. ZECHARIAH 13 5 But he shall say, I am no prophet, I am AN husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth. MALACHI 1 10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nought? neither do ye kindle fire on mine altar for nought. I have no pleasure in you, saith the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept AN offering at your hand. 13 Ye said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith the LORD of hosts; and ye brought that which was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye brought AN offering: should I accept this of your hand? saith the LORD. MALACHI 2 11 Judah hath dealt treacherously, and AN abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god. 12 The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth AN offering unto the LORD of hosts. MALACHI 3 3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD AN offering in righteousness. MALACHI 4 1 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as AN oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. MATTHEW 2 19 But when Herod was dead, behold, AN angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, MATTHEW 4 2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward AN hungred. 8 Again, the devil taketh him up into AN exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; MATTHEW 5 14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on AN hill cannot be hid. 38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, AN eye for AN eye, and a tooth for a tooth: MATTHEW 6 1 Take heed that ye do not your ALMS before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. 2 Therefore when thou doest thine ALMS, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. 3 But when thou doest ALMS, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: 4 That thine ALMS may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. MATTHEW 8 30 And there was a good way off from them AN herd of many swine feeding. MATTHEW 9 16 No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto AN old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. 20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with AN issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: MATTHEW 10 12 And when ye come into AN house, salute it. MATTHEW 11 1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made AN end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities. MATTHEW 12 1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were AN hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat. 3 But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was AN hungred, and they that were with him; 35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and AN evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. 39 But he answered and said unto them, AN evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: MATTHEW 13 8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some AN hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some AN hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 28 He said unto them, AN enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? 52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is AN householder, which bringeth forth out of his treasure things new and old. MATTHEW 14 7 Whereupon he promised with AN oath to give her whatsoever she would ask. MATTHEW 16 23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art AN offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. MATTHEW 17 1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into AN high mountain apart, 27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast AN hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee. MATTHEW 18 12 How think ye? if a man have AN hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray? 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as AN heathen man and a publican. 28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him AN hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest. MATTHEW 19 29 And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive AN hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life. MATTHEW 20 1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is AN householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard. MATTHEW 21 2 Saying unto them, Go into the village over against you, and straightway ye shall find AN ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me. 5 Tell ye the daughter of Sion, Behold, thy King cometh unto thee, meek, and sitting upon AN ass, and a colt the foal of AN ass. MATTHEW 24 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such AN hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in AN hour that he is not aware of, MATTHEW 25 24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art AN hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: 35 For I was AN hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee AN hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 42 For I was AN hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee AN hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? --MORE-- |
