JOHN 8 16 And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the FATHER that sent me. 18 I am one that bear witness of myself, and the FATHER that sent me beareth witness of me. 19 Then said they unto him, Where is thy FATHER? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my FATHER: if ye had known me, ye should have known my FATHER also. 27 They understood not that he spake to them of the FATHER. 28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my FATHER hath taught me, I speak these things. 29 And he that sent me is with me: the FATHER hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him. 38 I speak that which I have seen with my FATHER: and ye do that which ye have seen with your FATHER. 39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our FATHER. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your FATHER. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one FATHER, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your FATHER, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 44 Ye are of your FATHER the devil, and the lusts of your FATHER ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the FATHER of it. 49 Jesus answered, I have not a devil; but I honour my FATHER, and ye do dishonour me. 53 Art thou greater than our FATHER Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? 54 Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my FATHER that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he is your God: 56 Your FATHER Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. JOHN 10 15 As the FATHER knoweth me, even so know I the FATHER: and I lay down my life for the sheep. 17 Therefore doth my FATHER love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. 18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my FATHER. 25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my FATHER's name, they bear witness of me. 29 My FATHER, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my FATHER's hand. 30 I and my FATHER are one. 32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my FATHER; for which of those works do ye stone me? 36 Say ye of him, whom the FATHER hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God? 37 If I do not the works of my FATHER, believe me not. 38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the FATHER is in me, and I in him. JOHN 11 41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, FATHER, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. JOHN 12 26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my FATHER honour. 27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? FATHER, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 28 FATHER, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. 49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the FATHER which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. 50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the FATHER said unto me, so I speak. JOHN 13 1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the FATHER, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end. 3 Jesus knowing that the FATHER had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God; JOHN 14 2 In my FATHER's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the FATHER, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my FATHER also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the FATHER, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the FATHER; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the FATHER? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the FATHER, and the FATHER in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the FATHER that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the FATHER, and the FATHER in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my FATHER. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the FATHER may be glorified in the Son. 16 And I will pray the FATHER, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my FATHER, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my FATHER, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my FATHER will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the FATHER's which sent me. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the FATHER will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID. 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the FATHER: for my FATHER is greater than I. 31 But that the world may know that I love the FATHER; and as the FATHER gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. --MORE-- |
