JOHN 14 2 In my FATHER's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the FATHER, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my FATHER also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him. 8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the FATHER, and it sufficeth us. 9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the FATHER; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the FATHER? 10 Believest thou not that I am in the FATHER, and the FATHER in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the FATHER that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works. 11 Believe me that I am in the FATHER, and the FATHER in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my FATHER. 13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the FATHER may be glorified in the Son. 16 And I will pray the FATHER, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my FATHER, and ye in me, and I in you. 21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my FATHER, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. 23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my FATHER will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. 24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the FATHER's which sent me. 26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the FATHER will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. 27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be AFRAID. 28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the FATHER: for my FATHER is greater than I. 31 But that the world may know that I love the FATHER; and as the FATHER gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence. JOHN 15 1 I am the true vine, and my FATHER is the husbandman. 8 Herein is my FATHER glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. 9 As the FATHER hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. 10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my FATHER's commandments, and abide in his love. 15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my FATHER I have made known unto you. 16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the FATHER in my name, he may give it you. 23 He that hateth me hateth my FATHER also. 24 If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my FATHER. 26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the FATHER, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the FATHER, he shall testify of me: JOHN 16 3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the FATHER, nor me. 10 Of righteousness, because I go to my FATHER, and ye see me no more; 15 All things that the FATHER hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. 16 A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me, because I go to the FATHER. 17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he saith unto us, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me: and, Because I go to the FATHER? 23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the FATHER in my name, he will give it you. 25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the FATHER. 26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the FATHER for you: 27 For the FATHER himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. 28 I came forth from the FATHER, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the FATHER. 32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the FATHER is with me. JOHN 17 1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, FATHER, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: 5 And now, O FATHER, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was. 11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy FATHER, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are. 21 That they all may be one; as thou, FATHER, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. 24 FATHER, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous FATHER, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me. JOHN 18 11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up thy sword into the sheath: the cup which my FATHER hath given me, shall I not drink it? 13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was FATHER in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year. JOHN 19 8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more AFRAID; JOHN 20 17 Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my FATHER: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my FATHER, and your FATHER; and to my God, and your God. 21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my FATHER hath sent me, even so send I you. ACTS 1 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the FATHER, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the FATHER hath put in his own power. --MORE-- |
