DEUTERONOMY 2 4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the coast of your brethren the children of Esau, which dwell in Seir; and they shall be AFRAID of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore: DEUTERONOMY 5 5 (I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were AFRAID by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, DEUTERONOMY 6 14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round ABOUT you; DEUTERONOMY 7 18 Thou shalt not be AFRAID of them: but shalt well remember what the LORD thy God did unto Pharaoh, and unto all Egypt; 19 The great temptations which thine eyes saw, and the signs, and the wonders, and the mighty hand, and the stretched out arm, whereby the LORD thy God brought thee out: so shall the LORD thy God do unto all the people of whom thou art AFRAID. 25 The graven images of their gods shall ye burn with fire: thou shalt not desire the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it unto thee, lest thou be snared therin: for it is an ABOMINATION to the LORD thy God. 26 Neither shalt thou bring an ABOMINATION into thine house, lest thou be a cursed thing like it: but thou shalt utterly detest it, and thou shalt utterly abhor it; for it is a cursed thing. DEUTERONOMY 9 19 For I was AFRAID of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth against you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. DEUTERONOMY 12 10 But when ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and when he giveth you rest from all your enemies round ABOUT, so that ye dwell in safety; 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every ABOMINATION to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods. DEUTERONOMY 13 7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round ABOUT you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; 14 Then shalt thou enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold, if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such ABOMINATION is wrought among you; DEUTERONOMY 17 1 Thou shalt not sacrifice unto the LORD thy God any bullock, or sheep, wherein is blemish, or any evilfavouredness: for that is an ABOMINATION unto the LORD thy God. 4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such ABOMINATION is wrought in Israel: 14 When thou art come unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt possess it, and shalt dwell therein, and shalt say, I will set a king over me, like as all the nations that are ABOUT me; DEUTERONOMY 18 12 For all that do these things are an ABOMINATION unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. 22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be AFRAID of him. DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. DEUTERONOMY 21 2 Then thy elders and thy judges shall come forth, and they shall measure unto the cities which are round ABOUT him that is slain: DEUTERONOMY 22 5 The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are ABOMINATION unto the LORD thy God. DEUTERONOMY 23 18 Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are ABOMINATION unto the LORD thy God. DEUTERONOMY 24 4 Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is ABOMINATION before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. DEUTERONOMY 25 16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an ABOMINATION unto the LORD thy God. 19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round ABOUT, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it. DEUTERONOMY 27 15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an ABOMINATION unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen. DEUTERONOMY 28 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. 21 And it shall come to pass, when many evils and troubles are befallen them, that this song shall testify against them as a witness; for it shall not be forgotten out of the mouths of their seed: for I know their imagination which they go ABOUT, even now, before I have brought them into the land which I sware. DEUTERONOMY 32 10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him ABOUT, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. Thus shalt thou do six days. 11 So the ark of the LORD compassed the city, going ABOUT it once: and they came into the camp, and lodged in the camp. 15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early ABOUT the dawning of the day, and compassed the city after the same manner seven times: only on that day they compassed the city seven times. JOSHUA 7 3 And they returned to Joshua, and said unto him, Let not all the people go up; but let ABOUT two or three thousand men go up and smite Ai; and make not all the people to labour thither; for they are but few. 4 So there went up thither of the people ABOUT three thousand men: and they fled before the men of Ai. 5 And the men of Ai smote of them ABOUT thirty and six men: for they chased them from before the gate even unto Shebarim, and smote them in the going down: wherefore the hearts of the people melted, and became as water. JOSHUA 8 12 And he took ABOUT five thousand men, and set them to lie in ambush between Bethel and Ai, on the west side of the city. JOSHUA 9 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. --MORE-- |
