JEREMIAH 2 10 For pass over the isles of Chittim, and SEE; and send unto Kedar, and consider diligently, and SEE if there be such a thing. 12 Be astonished, O ye heavens, at this, and be horribly AFRAID, be ye very desolate, saith the LORD. 19 Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, and thy backslidings shall reprove thee: know therefore and SEE that it is an evil thing and bitter, that thou hast forsaken the LORD thy God, and that my fear is not in thee, saith the Lord GOD of hosts. 23 How canst thou say, I am not polluted, I have not gone after Baalim? SEE thy way in the valley, know what thou hast done: thou art a swift dromedary traversing her ways; 31 O generation, SEE ye the word of the LORD. Have I been a wilderness unto Israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, We are lords; we will come no more unto thee? JEREMIAH 3 2 Lift up thine eyes unto the high places, and SEE where thou hast not been lien with. In the ways hast thou sat for them, as the Arabian in the wilderness; and thou hast polluted the land with thy whoredoms and with thy wickedness. JEREMIAH 4 21 How long shall I SEE the standard, and hear the sound of the trumpet? JEREMIAH 5 1 Run ye to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem, and SEE now, and know, and seek in the broad places thereof, if ye can find a man, if there be any that executeth judgment, that seeketh the truth; and I will pardon it. 12 They have belied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we SEE sword nor famine: 21 Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and SEE not; which have ears, and hear not: JEREMIAH 6 16 Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and SEE, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein. JEREMIAH 7 12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and SEE what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel. JEREMIAH 10 5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not AFRAID of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good. JEREMIAH 11 20 But, O LORD of hosts, that judgest righteously, that triest the reins and the heart, let me SEE thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I revealed my cause. JEREMIAH 12 4 How long shall the land mourn, and the herbs of every field wither, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein? the beasts are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not SEE our last end. JEREMIAH 14 13 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, the prophets say unto them, Ye shall not SEE the sword, neither shall ye have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place. JEREMIAH 17 6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not SEE when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. 8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not SEE when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. JEREMIAH 20 12 But, O LORD of hosts, that triest the righteous, and seest the reins and the heart, let me SEE thy vengeance on them: for unto thee have I opened my cause. 18 Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to SEE labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame? JEREMIAH 22 10 Weep ye not for the dead, neither bemoan him: but weep sore for him that goeth away: for he shall return no more, nor SEE his native country. 12 But he shall die in the place whither they have led him captive, and shall SEE this land no more. JEREMIAH 23 24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not SEE him? saith the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 26 21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was AFRAID, and fled, and went into Egypt; JEREMIAH 30 6 Ask ye now, and SEE whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I SEE every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? 10 Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 36 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. JEREMIAH 38 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 14 Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall SEE no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell: 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. 18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall SEE this place no more. JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 51 61 And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt SEE, and shalt read all these words; LAMENTATIONS 1 11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: SEE, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. 12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and SEE if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 8 6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt SEE greater abominations. 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt SEE greater abominations that they do. 15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt SEE greater abominations than these. EZEKIEL 12 2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to SEE, and SEE not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house. 6 In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou SEE not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel. 12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he SEE not the ground with his eyes. 13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not SEE it, though he shall die there. EZEKIEL 13 9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that SEE vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD. 16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which SEE visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD. 23 Therefore ye shall SEE no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. --MORE-- |
