JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 14 Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall SEE no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell: 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. 18 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury hath been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when ye shall enter into Egypt: and ye shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and ye shall SEE this place no more. JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 51 61 And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When thou comest to Babylon, and shalt SEE, and shalt read all these words; LAMENTATIONS 1 11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for meat to relieve the soul: SEE, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile. 12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and SEE if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 8 6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn thee yet again, and thou shalt SEE greater abominations. 13 He said also unto me, Turn thee yet again, and thou shalt SEE greater abominations that they do. 15 Then said he unto me, Hast thou seen this, O son of man? turn thee yet again, and thou shalt SEE greater abominations than these. EZEKIEL 12 2 Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to SEE, and SEE not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house. 6 In their sight shalt thou bear it upon thy shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: thou shalt cover thy face, that thou SEE not the ground: for I have set thee for a sign unto the house of Israel. 12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he SEE not the ground with his eyes. 13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not SEE it, though he shall die there. EZEKIEL 13 9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that SEE vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the Lord GOD. 16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which SEE visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD. 23 Therefore ye shall SEE no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. EZEKIEL 14 22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and ye shall SEE their way and their doings: and ye shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it. 23 And they shall comfort you, when ye SEE their ways and their doings: and ye shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 16 37 Behold, therefore I will gather all thy lovers, with whom thou hast taken pleasure, and all them that thou hast loved, with all them that thou hast hated; I will even gather them round about against thee, and will discover thy nakedness unto them, that they may SEE all thy nakedness. EZEKIEL 20 48 And all flesh shall SEE that I the LORD have kindled it: it shall not be quenched. EZEKIEL 21 29 Whiles they SEE vanity unto thee, whiles they divine a lie unto thee, to bring thee upon the necks of them that are slain, of the wicked, whose day is come, when their iniquity shall have an end. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. 31 Pharaoh shall SEE them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 33 6 But if the watchman SEE the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. EZEKIEL 34 28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them AFRAID. EZEKIEL 39 21 And I will set my glory among the heathen, and all the heathen shall SEE my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. 26 After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them AFRAID. DANIEL 1 10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king, who hath appointed your meat and your drink: for why should he SEE your faces worse liking than the children which are of your sort? then shall ye make me endanger my head to the king. DANIEL 2 8 The king answered and said, I know of certainty that ye would gain the time, because ye SEE the thing is gone from me. DANIEL 3 25 He answered and said, Lo, I SEE four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. DANIEL 4 5 I saw a dream which made me AFRAID, and the thoughts upon my bed and the visions of my head troubled me. DANIEL 5 23 But hast lifted up thyself against the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which SEE not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: DANIEL 8 17 So he came near where I stood: and when he came, I was AFRAID, and fell upon my face: but he said unto me, Understand, O son of man: for at the time of the end shall be the vision. JOEL 2 22 Be not AFRAID, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. 28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall SEE visions: AMOS 3 6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be AFRAID? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it? AMOS 6 2 Pass ye unto Calneh, and SEE; and from thence go ye to Hamath the great: then go down to Gath of the Philistines: be they better than these kingdoms? or their border greater than your border? JONAH 1 5 Then the mariners were AFRAID, and cried every man unto his god, and cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it of them. But Jonah was gone down into the sides of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep. 10 Then were the men exceedingly AFRAID, and said unto him. Why hast thou done this? For the men knew that he fled from the presence of the LORD, because he had told them. JONAH 4 5 So Jonah went out of the city, and sat on the east side of the city, and there made him a booth, and sat under it in the shadow, till he might SEE what would become of the city. MICAH 4 4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them AFRAID: for the mouth of the LORD of hosts hath spoken it. MICAH 6 9 The LORD's voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall SEE thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it. MICAH 7 10 Then she that is mine enemy shall SEE it, and shame shall cover her which said unto me, Where is the LORD thy God? mine eyes shall behold her: now shall she be trodden down as the mire of the streets. 16 The nations shall SEE and be confounded at all their might: they shall lay their hand upon their mouth, their ears shall be deaf. 17 They shall lick the dust like a serpent, they shall move out of their holes like worms of the earth: they shall be AFRAID of the LORD our God, and shall fear because of thee. --MORE-- |
