DEUTERONOMY 22 2 And IF thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or IF thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again. 6 IF a bird's nest chance to be before thee in the way in any tree, or on the ground, whether they be young ones, or eggs, and the dam sitting upon the young, or upon the eggs, thou shalt not take the dam with the young: 8 When thou buildest a new house, then thou shalt make a battlement for thy roof, that thou bring not blood upon thine house, IF any man fall from thence. 13 IF any man take a wife, and go in unto her, and hate her, 20 But IF this thing be true, and the tokens of virginity be not found for the damsel: 22 IF a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away evil from Israel. 23 IF a damsel that is a virgin be betrothed unto an husband, and a man find her in the city, and lie with her; 25 But IF a man find a betrothed damsel in the field, and the man force her, and lie with her: then the man only that lay with her shall die. 28 IF a man find a damsel that is a virgin, which is not betrothed, and lay hold on her, and lie with her, and they be found; DEUTERONOMY 23 10 IF there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp: 22 But IF thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee. DEUTERONOMY 24 3 And IF the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or IF the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife; 7 IF a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you. 12 And IF the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge: DEUTERONOMY 25 1 IF there be a controversy between men, and they come unto judgment, that the judges may judge them; then they shall justify the righteous, and condemn the wicked. 2 And it shall be, IF the wicked man be worthy to be beaten, that the judge shall cause him to lie down, and to be beaten before his face, according to his fault, by a certain number. 3 Forty stripes he may give him, and not exceed: lest, IF he should exceed, and beat him above these with many stripes, then thy brother should seem vile unto thee. 5 IF brethren dwell together, and one of them die, and have no child, the wife of the dead shall not marry without unto a stranger: her husband's brother shall go in unto her, and take her to him to wife, and perform the duty of an husband's brother unto her. 7 And IF the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother. 8 Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and IF he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her; DEUTERONOMY 28 1 And it shall come to pass, IF thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, IF thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. 9 The LORD shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, IF thou shalt keep the commandments of the LORD thy God, and walk in his ways. 10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of the LORD; and they shall be AFRAID of thee. 13 And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; IF that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them: 15 But it shall come to pass, IF thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee: 58 IF thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; 60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast AFRAID of; and they shall cleave unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 30 4 IF any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee: 10 IF thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, and IF thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul. 17 But IF thine heart turn away, so that thou wilt not hear, but shalt be drawn away, and worship other gods, and serve them; DEUTERONOMY 31 6 Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be AFRAID of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee. DEUTERONOMY 32 41 IF I whet my glittering sword, and mine hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to mine enemies, and will reward them that hate me. JOSHUA 1 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not AFRAID, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JOSHUA 2 14 And the men answered her, Our life for yours, IF ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the LORD hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee. 19 And it shall be, that whosoever shall go out of the doors of thy house into the street, his blood shall be upon his head, and we will be guiltless: and whosoever shall be with thee in the house, his blood shall be on our head, IF any hand be upon him. 20 And IF thou utter this our business, then we will be quit of thine oath which thou hast made us to swear. JOSHUA 8 15 And Joshua and all Israel made as IF they were beaten before them, and fled by the way of the wilderness. JOSHUA 9 4 They did work wilily, and went and made as IF they had been ambassadors, and took old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles, old, and rent, and bound up; 24 And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told thy servants, how that the LORD thy God commanded his servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were sore AFRAID of our lives because of you, and have done this thing. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not AFRAID because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with fire. JOSHUA 14 12 Now therefore give me this mountain, whereof the LORD spake in that day; for thou heardest in that day how the Anakims were there, and that the cities were great and fenced: IF so be the LORD will be with me, then I shall be able to drive them out, as the LORD said. JOSHUA 17 15 And Joshua answered them, IF thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, IF mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee. JOSHUA 20 5 And IF the avenger of blood pursue after him, then they shall not deliver the slayer up into his hand; because he smote his neighbour unwittingly, and hated him not beforetime. JOSHUA 22 19 Notwithstanding, IF the land of your possession be unclean, then pass ye over unto the land of the possession of the LORD, wherein the LORD's tabernacle dwelleth, and take possession among us: but rebel not against the LORD, nor rebel against us, in building you an altar beside the altar of the LORD our God. 22 The LORD God of gods, the LORD God of gods, he knoweth, and Israel he shall know; IF it be in rebellion, or IF in transgression against the LORD, (save us not this day,) 23 That we have built us an altar to turn from following the LORD, or IF to offer thereon burnt offering or meat offering, or IF to offer peace offerings thereon, let the LORD himself require it; 24 And IF we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with the LORD God of Israel? JOSHUA 23 12 Else IF ye do in any wise go back, and cleave unto the remnant of these nations, even these that remain among you, and shall make marriages with them, and go in unto them, and they to you: JOSHUA 24 15 And IF it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 20 IF ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good. --MORE-- |
