For Manoah knew not that he was an angel of the LORD. 23 But his wife said unto him, IF the LORD were pleased to kill us, he would not have received a burnt offering and a meat offering at our hands, neither would he have shewed us all these things, nor would as at this time have told us such things as these. JUDGES 14 12 And Samson said unto them, I will now put forth a riddle unto you: IF ye can certainly declare it me within the seven days of the feast, and find it out, then I will give you thirty sheets and thirty change of garments: 13 But IF ye cannot declare it me, then shall ye give me thirty sheets and thirty change of garments. And they said unto him, Put forth thy riddle, that we may hear it. 18 And the men of the city said unto him on the seventh day before the sun went down, What is sweeter than honey? And what is stronger than a lion? and he said unto them, IF ye had not plowed with my heifer, ye had not found out my riddle. RUTH 4 4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. IF thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but IF thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know: for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it. 1 SAMUEL 1 11 And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, IF thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid, and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head. 1 SAMUEL 2 16 And IF any man said unto him, Let them not fail to burn the fat presently, and then take as much as thy soul desireth; then he would answer him, Nay; but thou shalt give it me now: and IF not, I will take it by force. 25 IF one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but IF a man sin against the LORD, who shall intreat for him?
