2 KINGS 5 13 And his servants came near, and spake unto him, and said, My father, IF the prophet had bid thee do some great thing, wouldest thou not have done it? how much rather then, when he saith to thee, Wash, and be clean? 2 KINGS 6 27 And he said, IF the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress? 31 Then he said, God do so and more also to me, IF the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day. 2 KINGS 7 2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, IF the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. 4 IF we say, We will enter into the city, then the famine is in the city, and we shall die there: and IF we sit still here, we die also. Now therefore come, and let us fall unto the host of the Syrians: IF they save us alive, we shall live; and IF they kill us, we shall but die. 9 Then they said one to another, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: IF we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household. 19 And that lord answered the man of God, and said, Now, behold, IF the LORD should make windows in heaven, might such a thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof. 2 KINGS 9 15 But king Joram was returned to be healed in Jezreel of the wounds which the Syrians had given him, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria.) And Jehu said, IF it be your minds, then let none go forth nor escape out of the city to go to tell it in Jezreel. 2 KINGS 10 4 But they were exceedingly AFRAID, and said, Behold, two kings stood not before him: how then shall we stand? 6 Then he wrote a letter the second time to them, saying, IF ye be mine, and IF ye will hearken unto my voice, take ye the heads of the men your master's sons, and come to me to Jezreel by to morrow this time. Now the king's sons, being seventy persons, were with the great men of the city, which brought them up. 15 And when he was departed thence, he lighted on Jehonadab the son of Rechab coming to meet him: and he saluted him, and said to him, Is thine heart right, as my heart is with thy heart? And Jehonadab answered, It is. IF it be, give me thine hand. And he gave him his hand; and he took him up to him into the chariot. 24 And when they went in to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings, Jehu appointed fourscore men without, and said, IF any of the men whom I have brought into your hands escape, he that letteth him go, his life shall be for the life of him. 2 KINGS 18 21 Now, behold, thou trustest upon the staff of this bruised reed, even upon Egypt, on which IF a man lean, it will go into his hand, and pierce it: so is Pharaoh king of Egypt unto all that trust on him. 22 But IF ye say unto me, We trust in the LORD our God: is not that he, whose high places and whose altars Hezekiah hath taken away, and hath said to Judah and Jerusalem, Ye shall worship before this altar in Jerusalem? 23 Now therefore, I pray thee, give pledges to my lord the king of Assyria, and I will deliver thee two thousand horses, IF thou be able on thy part to set riders upon them. 2 KINGS 19 6 And Isaiah said unto them, Thus shall ye say to your master, Thus saith the LORD, Be not AFRAID of the words which thou hast heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me. 2 KINGS 20 19 Then said Hezekiah unto Isaiah, Good is the word of the LORD which thou hast spoken. And he said, Is it not good, IF peace and truth be in my days? 2 KINGS 21 8 Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only IF they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them, and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them. 2 KINGS 25 26 And all the people, both small and great, and the captains of the armies, arose, and came to Egypt: for they were AFRAID of the Chaldees. 1 CHRONICLES 10 4 Then said Saul to his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore AFRAID. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. 1 CHRONICLES 12 17 And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, IF ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but IF ye be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it. 1 CHRONICLES 13 2 And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, IF it seem good unto you, and that it be of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, that are left in all the land of Israel, and with them also to the priests and Levites which are in their cities and suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us: 12 And David was AFRAID of God that day, saying, How shall I bring the ark of God home to me? 1 CHRONICLES 19 12 And he said, IF the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but IF the children of Ammon be too strong for thee, then I will help thee. 1 CHRONICLES 21 30 But David could not go before it to enquire of God: for he was AFRAID because of the sword of the angel of the LORD. 1 CHRONICLES 22 13 Then shalt thou prosper, IF thou takest heed to fulfil the statutes and judgments which the LORD charged Moses with concerning Israel: be strong, and of good courage; dread not, nor be dismayed. 1 CHRONICLES 28 7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, IF he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, as at this day. 9 And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: IF thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but IF thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever. 2 CHRONICLES 6 22 IF a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house; 24 And IF thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned against thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house; 26 When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; yet IF they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them; 28 IF there be dearth in the land, IF there be pestilence, IF there be blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillers; IF their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be: 32 Moreover concerning the stranger, which is not of thy people Israel, but is come from a far country for thy great name's sake, and thy mighty hand, and thy stretched out arm; IF they come and pray in this house; 34 IF thy people go out to war against their enemies by the way that thou shalt send them, and they pray unto thee toward this city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name; 36 IF they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near; 37 Yet IF they bethink themselves in the land whither they are carried captive, and turn and pray unto thee in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly; 38 IF they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and toward the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name: 2 CHRONICLES 7 13 IF I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or IF I command the locusts to devour the land, or IF I send pestilence among my people; 14 IF my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 17 And as for thee, IF thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, and do according to all that I have commanded thee, and shalt observe my statutes and my judgments; 19 But IF ye turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments, which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship them; 2 CHRONICLES 10 7 And they spake unto him, saying, IF thou be kind to this people, and please them, and speak good words to them, they will be thy servants for ever. 2 CHRONICLES 15 2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear ye me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin; The LORD is with you, while ye be with him; and IF ye seek him, he will be found of you; but IF ye forsake him, he will forsake you. 2 CHRONICLES 18 27 And Micaiah said, IF thou certainly return in peace, then hath not the LORD spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, all ye people. 2 CHRONICLES 20 9 IF, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help. 15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not AFRAID nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. 2 CHRONICLES 25 8 But IF thou wilt go, do it; be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down. 2 CHRONICLES 30 9 For IF ye turn again unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, IF ye return unto him. 2 CHRONICLES 32 7 Be strong and courageous, be not AFRAID nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: EZRA 4 13 Be it known now unto the king, that, IF this city be builded, and the walls set up again, then will they not pay toll, tribute, and custom, and so thou shalt endamage the revenue of the kings. 16 We certify the king that, IF this city be builded again, and the walls thereof set up, by this means thou shalt have no portion on this side the river. --MORE-- |
