JEREMIAH 33 20 Thus saith the LORD; IF ye can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season; 25 Thus saith the LORD; IF my covenant be not with day and night, and IF I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth; JEREMIAH 36 16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were AFRAID both one and other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words. 24 Yet they were not AFRAID, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words. JEREMIAH 38 15 Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, IF I declare it unto thee, wilt thou not surely put me to death? and IF I give thee counsel, wilt thou not hearken unto me? 17 Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; IF thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house: 18 But IF thou wilt not go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then shall this city be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, and they shall burn it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of their hand. 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am AFRAID of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me. 21 But IF thou refuse to go forth, this is the word that the LORD hath shewed me: 25 But IF the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death; also what the king said unto thee: JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the hand of the men of whom thou art AFRAID. JEREMIAH 40 4 And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine hand. IF it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but IF it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go. JEREMIAH 41 18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were AFRAID of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land. JEREMIAH 42 5 Then they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, IF we do not even according to all things for the which the LORD thy God shall send thee to us. 10 IF ye will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you. 11 Be not AFRAID of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are AFRAID; be not AFRAID of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand. 13 But IF ye say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God, 15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, ye remnant of Judah; Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; IF ye wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there; 16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which ye feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof ye were AFRAID, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there ye shall die. JEREMIAH 46 27 But fear not thou, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him AFRAID. JEREMIAH 49 9 IF grapegatherers come to thee, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? IF thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough. JEREMIAH 51 8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, IF so be she may be healed. LAMENTATIONS 1 12 Is it nothing to you, all ye that pass by? behold, and see IF there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger. LAMENTATIONS 2 6 And he hath violently taken away his tabernacle, as IF it were of a garden: he hath destroyed his places of the assembly: the LORD hath caused the solemn feasts and sabbaths to be forgotten in Zion, and hath despised in the indignation of his anger the king and the priest. LAMENTATIONS 3 29 He putteth his mouth in the dust; IF so be there may be hope. EZEKIEL 2 6 And thou, son of man, be not AFRAID of them, neither be AFRAID of their words, though briers and thorns be with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not AFRAID of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house. EZEKIEL 3 19 Yet IF thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 21 Nevertheless IF thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul. EZEKIEL 10 10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as IF a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel. EZEKIEL 14 9 And IF the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel. 15 IF I cause noisome beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts: 17 Or IF I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it: 19 Or IF I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast: EZEKIEL 16 47 Yet hast thou not walked after their ways, nor done after their abominations: but, as IF that were a very little thing, thou wast corrupted more than they in all thy ways. EZEKIEL 18 5 But IF a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right, 10 IF he beget a son that is a robber, a shedder of blood, and that doeth the like to any one of these things, 14 Now, lo, IF he beget a son, that seeth all his father's sins which he hath done, and considereth, and doeth not such like, 21 But IF the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die. EZEKIEL 20 11 And I gave them my statutes, and shewed them my judgments, which IF a man do, he shall even live in them. 13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which IF a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them. 21 Notwithstanding the children rebelled against me: they walked not in my statutes, neither kept my judgments to do them, which IF a man do, he shall even live in them; they polluted my sabbaths: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the wilderness. 39 As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, IF ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols. EZEKIEL 21 13 Because it is a trial, and what IF the sword contemn even the rod? it shall be no more, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 27 35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore AFRAID, they shall be troubled in their countenance. EZEKIEL 30 9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians AFRAID, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it cometh. EZEKIEL 32 10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at thee, and their kings shall be horribly AFRAID for thee, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of thy fall. EZEKIEL 33 2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, IF the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: 3 IF when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; 4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; IF the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. 6 But IF the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; IF the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. 8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; IF thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. 9 Nevertheless, IF thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; IF he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul. 10 Therefore, O thou son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus ye speak, saying, IF our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live? 13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; IF he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he hath committed, he shall die for it. 14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; IF he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right; 15 IF the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die. 19 But IF the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby. --MORE-- |
