1 KINGS 13 10 So he went ANOTHER way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel. 1 KINGS 14 5 And the LORD said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be ANOTHER woman. 6 And it was so, when Ahijah heard the sound of her feet, as she came in at the door, that he said, Come in, thou wife of Jeroboam; why feignest thou thyself to be ANOTHER? for I am sent to thee with heavy tidings. 1 KINGS 18 6 So they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went ANOTHER way by himself. 1 KINGS 20 37 Then he found ANOTHER man, and said, Smite me, I pray thee. And the man smote him, so that in smiting he wounded him. 1 KINGS 21 6 And he said unto her, Because I spake unto Naboth the Jezreelite, and said unto him, Give me thy vineyard for money; or else, if it please thee, I will give thee ANOTHER vineyard for it: and he answered, I will not give thee my vineyard. 1 KINGS 22 20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and ANOTHER said on that manner. 2 KINGS 1 11 Again also he sent unto him ANOTHER captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly. 2 KINGS 3 23 And they said, This is blood: the kings are surely slain, and they have smitten one ANOTHER: now therefore, Moab, to the spoil. 2 KINGS 7 3 And there were four leprous men at the entering in of the gate: and they said one to ANOTHER, Why sit we here until we die? 6 For the LORD had made the host of the Syrians to hear a noise of chariots, and a noise of horses, even the noise of a great host: and they said one to ANOTHER, Lo, the king of Israel hath hired against us the kings of the Hittites, and the kings of the Egyptians, to come upon us. 8 And when these lepers came to the uttermost part of the camp, they went into one tent, and did eat and drink, and carried thence silver, and gold, and raiment, and went and hid it; and came again, and entered into ANOTHER tent, and carried thence also, and went and hid it. 9 Then they said one to ANOTHER, We do not well: this day is a day of good tidings, and we hold our peace: if we tarry till the morning light, some mischief will come upon us: now therefore come, that we may go and tell the king's household. 2 KINGS 10 21 And Jehu sent through all Israel: and all the worshippers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left that came not. And they came into the house of Baal; and the house of Baal was full from one end to ANOTHER. 2 KINGS 14 8 Then Amaziah sent messengers to Jehoash, the son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us look one ANOTHER in the face. 11 But Amaziah would not hear. Therefore Jehoash king of Israel went up; and he and Amaziah king of Judah looked one ANOTHER in the face at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah. 2 KINGS 21 16 Moreover Manasseh shed innocent blood very much, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to ANOTHER; beside his sin wherewith he made Judah to sin, in doing that which was evil in the sight of the LORD. 2 KINGS 23 13 And the high places that were before Jerusalem, which were on the right hand of the mount of corruption, which Solomon the king of Israel had builded for Ashtoreth the abomination of the Zidonians, and for Chemosh the abomination of the Moabites, and for Milcom the abomination of the children of AMMON, did the king defile. 2 KINGS 24 2 And the LORD sent against him bands of the Chaldees, and bands of the Syrians, and bands of the Moabites, and bands of the children of AMMON, and sent them against Judah to destroy it, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by his servants the prophets. 1 CHRONICLES 1 20 And Joktan begat ALMODAD, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah, 1 CHRONICLES 2 26 Jerahmeel had also ANOTHER wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam. 1 CHRONICLES 16 20 And when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to ANOTHER people; 1 CHRONICLES 17 5 For I have not dwelt in an house since the day that I brought up Israel unto this day; but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to ANOTHER. 1 CHRONICLES 18 11 Them also king David dedicated unto the LORD, with the silver and the gold that he brought from all these nations; from Edom, and from Moab, and from the children of AMMON, and from the Philistines, and from Amalek. 1 CHRONICLES 19 1 Now it came to pass after this, that Nahash the king of the children of AMMON died, and his son reigned in his stead. 2 And David said, I will shew kindness unto Hanun the son of Nahash, because his father shewed kindness to me. And David sent messengers to comfort him concerning his father. So the servants of David came into the land of the children of AMMON to Hanun, to comfort him. 3 But the princes of the children of AMMON said to Hanun, Thinkest thou that David doth honour thy father, that he hath sent comforters unto thee? are not his servants come unto thee for to search, and to overthrow, and to spy out the land? 6 And when the children of AMMON saw that they had made themselves odious to David, Hanun and the children of AMMON sent a thousand talents of silver to hire them chariots and horsemen out of Mesopotamia, and out of Syriamaachah, and out of Zobah. 7 So they hired thirty and two thousand chariots, and the king of Maachah and his people; who came and pitched before Medeba. And the children of AMMON gathered themselves together from their cities, and came to battle. 9 And the children of AMMON came out, and put the battle in array before the gate of the city: and the kings that were come were by themselves in the field. 11 And the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves in array against the children of AMMON. 12 And he said, If the Syrians be too strong for me, then thou shalt help me: but if the children of AMMON be too strong for thee, then I will help thee. 15 And when the children of AMMON saw that the Syrians were fled, they likewise fled before Abishai his brother, and entered into the city. Then Joab came to Jerusalem. 19 And when the servants of Hadarezer saw that they were put to the worse before Israel, they made peace with David, and became his servants: neither would the Syrians help the children of AMMON any more. 1 CHRONICLES 20 1 And it came to pass, that after the year was expired, at the time that kings go out to battle, Joab led forth the power of the army, and wasted the country of the children of AMMON, and came and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried at Jerusalem. And Joab smote Rabbah, and destroyed it. 3 And he brought out the people that were in it, and cut them with saws, and with harrows of iron, and with axes. Even so dealt David with all the cities of the children of AMMON. And David and all the people returned to Jerusalem. 1 CHRONICLES 24 5 Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with ANOTHER; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar. 1 CHRONICLES 26 12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one against ANOTHER, to minister in the house of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 18 19 And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and ANOTHER saying after that manner. 2 CHRONICLES 20 1 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of AMMON, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle. 10 And now, behold, the children of AMMON and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not; 22 And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of AMMON, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23 For the children of AMMON and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy ANOTHER. 2 CHRONICLES 25 17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one ANOTHER in the face. 21 So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one ANOTHER in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongeth to Judah. 2 CHRONICLES 27 5 He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of AMMON gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of AMMON pay unto him, both the second year, and the third. 2 CHRONICLES 32 5 Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and ANOTHER wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance. EZRA 4 21 Give ye now commandment to cause these men to cease, and that this city be not builded, until ANOTHER commandment shall be given from me. EZRA 9 11 Which thou hast commanded by thy servants the prophets, saying, The land, unto which ye go to possess it, is an unclean land with the filthiness of the people of the lands, with their abominations, which have filled it from one end to ANOTHER with their uncleanness. NEHEMIAH 3 19 And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, ANOTHER piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall. 21 After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz ANOTHER piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib. 24 After him repaired Binnui the son of Henadad ANOTHER piece, from the house of Azariah unto the turning of the wall, even unto the corner. 27 After them the Tekoites repaired ANOTHER piece, over against the great tower that lieth out, even unto the wall of Ophel. 30 After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, ANOTHER piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber. --MORE-- |
