VOCABULARY SCREEN HELP INFORMATION
1. ALIGN: Since the vocabulary is 12,852 words long it is necessary to use multiple pages to display the entire list. Rather than move forward or backward one page at a time within the vocabulary list you may enter a word or just the first few characters of a word in the space provided and click ALIGN. The screen will begin displaying at or near the requested word.

2. MODE: Specifies text display. SCAN displays many partial verses per screen, VERSE displays fewer full verses per screen, CHAPTER displays entire text of one chapter per screen.

3. SEARCH LIST: One or more words and/or phrases separated by a comma (no spaces except for the space between words of a phrase). When SEARCH is clicked the program will locate every occurrence in the KJV Bible of the target words and/or phrases.
Due to technical constraints, manually typed entries are recognized only when typed immediately before clicking SEARCH. Proper sequence in building a search list is to add words by clicking them, then, in a single manual edit of the line, add, delete or modify individual words and phrases, then click SEARCH.

4. CLEAR: Erases the search list so that one may start over.

5. UNDERLINED WORDS: Vocabulary words, 12,852 in all. Click one to add it to the search list.

6. SMALL NUMBER BESIDE A VOCABULARY WORD: The number of times that word occurs in the text of the King James Version of the Bible.

7. BACKWARD|FORWARD: Navigational aid. Move forward or backward one page (90 words) in the vocabulary list, or else return to home page.
