HEBREWS 5 7 Who in the days of HIS flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared; HEBREWS 6 10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, which ye have shewed toward HIS name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister. 17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of HIS counsel, confirmed it by an oath: HEBREWS 7 10 For he was yet in the loins of HIS father, when Melchisedec met him. 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for HIS own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. HEBREWS 8 11 And they shall not teach every man HIS neighbour, and every man HIS brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. HEBREWS 9 12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by HIS own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. HEBREWS 10 13 From henceforth expecting till HIS enemies be made HIS footstool. 20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, HIS flesh; 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge HIS people. HEBREWS 11 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of HIS gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before HIS translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of HIS house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up HIS only begotten son, 21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of HIS staff. 22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning HIS bones. 23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of HIS parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment. HEBREWS 12 10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of HIS holiness. 16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold HIS birthright. HEBREWS 13 12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with HIS own blood, suffered without the gate. 13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing HIS reproach. 15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to HIS name. 21 Make you perfect in every good work to do HIS will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in HIS sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. JAMES 1 8 A double minded man is unstable in all HIS ways. 11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in HIS ways. 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of HIS own lust, and enticed. 18 Of HIS own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of HIS creatures. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding HIS natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth HIS way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in HIS deed. 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not HIS tongue, but deceiveth HIS own heart, this man's religion is vain. JAMES 2 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac HIS son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with HIS works, and by works was faith made perfect? JAMES 3 13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation HIS works with meekness of wisdom. JAMES 4 11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of HIS brother, and judgeth HIS brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. JAMES 5 20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of HIS way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. 1 PETER 1 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to HIS abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 PETER 2 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into HIS marvellous light; 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow HIS steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in HIS mouth: 24 Who HIS own self bare our sins in HIS own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 PETER 3 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain HIS tongue from evil, and HIS lips that they speak no guile: 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and HIS ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 PETER 4 2 That he no longer should live the rest of HIS time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when HIS glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 PETER 5 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto HIS eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 2 PETER 1 3 According as HIS divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from HIS old sins. 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of HIS majesty. 2 PETER 2 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed HIS righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 16 But was rebuked for HIS iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to HIS own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. --MORE-- |
