1 PETER 1 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to HIS abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1 PETER 2 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into HIS marvellous light; 21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow HIS steps: 22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in HIS mouth: 24 Who HIS own self bare our sins in HIS own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. 1 PETER 3 10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain HIS tongue from evil, and HIS lips that they speak no guile: 12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and HIS ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil. 1 PETER 4 2 That he no longer should live the rest of HIS time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God. 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when HIS glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 1 PETER 5 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto HIS eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 2 PETER 1 3 According as HIS divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: 9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from HIS old sins. 16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of HIS majesty. 2 PETER 2 8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed HIS righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;) 16 But was rebuked for HIS iniquity: the dumb ass speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet. 22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to HIS own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire. 2 PETER 3 4 And saying, Where is the promise of HIS coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning HIS promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 13 Nevertheless we, according to HIS promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. 16 As also in all HIS epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 1 JOHN 1 3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with HIS Son Jesus Christ. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ HIS Son cleanseth us from all sin. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and HIS word is not in us. 1 JOHN 2 3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep HIS commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not HIS commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth HIS word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 9 He that saith he is in the light, and hateth HIS brother, is in darkness even until now. 10 He that loveth HIS brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. 11 But he that hateth HIS brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded HIS eyes. 12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for HIS name's sake. 28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at HIS coming. 1 JOHN 3 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for HIS seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not HIS brother. 12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew HIS brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because HIS own works were evil, and HIS brother's righteous. 14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not HIS brother abideth in death. 15 Whosoever hateth HIS brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him. 16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down HIS life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. 17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth HIS brother have need, and shutteth up HIS bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? 22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep HIS commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in HIS sight. 23 And this is HIS commandment, That we should believe on the name of HIS Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. 24 And he that keepeth HIS commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us. 1 JOHN 4 9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent HIS only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. 10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent HIS Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and HIS love is perfected in us. 13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of HIS Spirit. 20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth HIS brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not HIS brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? 21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love HIS brother also. 1 JOHN 5 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep HIS commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep HIS commandments: and HIS commandments are not grievous. 9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of HIS Son. 10 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of HIS Son. 11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in HIS Son. 14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to HIS will, he heareth us: 16 If any man see HIS brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it. 20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in HIS Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life. --MORE-- |
