DEUTERONOMY 13 5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which the LORD thy God commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the EVIL away from the midst of thee. DEUTERONOMY 15 9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be EVIL against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 17 7 The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the EVIL away from among you. 12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the LORD thy God, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the EVIL from Israel. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 19 Then shall ye do unto him, as he had thought to have done unto his brother: so shalt thou put the EVIL away from among you. 20 And those which remain shall hear, and fear, and shall henceforth commit no more any such EVIL among you. DEUTERONOMY 21 21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put EVIL away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. DEUTERONOMY 22 14 And give occasions of speech against her, and bring up an EVIL name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and give them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an EVIL name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 21 Then they shall bring out the damsel to the door of her father's house, and the men of her city shall stone her with stones that she die: because she hath wrought folly in Israel, to play the whore in her father's house: so shalt thou put EVIL away from among you. 22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman: so shalt thou put away EVIL from Israel. 24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the gate of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away EVIL from among you. DEUTERONOMY 24 7 If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put EVIL away from among you. DEUTERONOMY 26 6 And the Egyptians EVIL entreated us, and afflicted us, and laid upon us hard bondage: DEUTERONOMY 28 54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be EVIL toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave: 56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be EVIL toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, DEUTERONOMY 29 21 And the LORD shall separate him unto EVIL out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that are written in this book of the law: DEUTERONOMY 30 15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and EVIL; DEUTERONOMY 31 29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and EVIL will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do EVIL in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger through the work of your hands. DEUTERONOMY 33 17 His glory is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of EPHRAIM, and they are the thousands of Manasseh. DEUTERONOMY 34 2 And all Naphtali, and the land of EPHRAIM, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea, JOSHUA 14 4 For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and EPHRAIM: therefore they gave no part unto the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, with their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance. JOSHUA 16 4 So the children of Joseph, Manasseh and EPHRAIM, took their inheritance. 5 And the border of the children of EPHRAIM according to their families was thus: even the border of their inheritance on the east side was Atarothaddar, unto Bethhoron the upper; 8 The border went out from Tappuah westward unto the river Kanah; and the goings out thereof were at the sea. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the children of EPHRAIM by their families. 9 And the separate cities for the children of EPHRAIM were among the inheritance of the children of Manasseh, all the cities with their villages. JOSHUA 17 8 Now Manasseh had the land of Tappuah: but Tappuah on the border of Manasseh belonged to the children of EPHRAIM; 9 And the coast descended unto the river Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of EPHRAIM are among the cities of Manasseh: the coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the sea: 10 Southward it was EPHRAIM's, and northward it was Manasseh's, and the sea is his border; and they met together in Asher on the north, and in Issachar on the east. 15 And Joshua answered them, If thou be a great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of the giants, if mount EPHRAIM be too narrow for thee. 17 And Joshua spake unto the house of Joseph, even to EPHRAIM and to Manasseh, saying, Thou art a great people, and hast great power: thou shalt not have one lot only: JOSHUA 19 50 According to the word of the LORD they gave him the city which he asked, even Timnathserah in mount EPHRAIM: and he built the city, and dwelt therein. JOSHUA 20 7 And they appointed Kedesh in Galilee in mount Naphtali, and Shechem in mount EPHRAIM, and Kirjatharba, which is Hebron, in the mountain of Judah. JOSHUA 21 5 And the rest of the children of Kohath had by lot out of the families of the tribe of EPHRAIM, and out of the tribe of Dan, and out of the half tribe of Manasseh, ten cities. 20 And the families of the children of Kohath, the Levites which remained of the children of Kohath, even they had the cities of their lot out of the tribe of EPHRAIM. 21 For they gave them Shechem with her suburbs in mount EPHRAIM, to be a city of refuge for the slayer; and Gezer with her suburbs, JOSHUA 23 15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all EVIL things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you. JOSHUA 24 15 And if it seem EVIL unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 30 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathserah, which is in mount EPHRAIM, on the north side of the hill of Gaash. 33 And Eleazar the son of Aaron died; and they buried him in a hill that pertained to Phinehas his son, which was given him in mount EPHRAIM. JUDGES 1 29 Neither did EPHRAIM drive out the Canaanites that dwelt in Gezer; but the Canaanites dwelt in Gezer among them. JUDGES 2 9 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of EPHRAIM, on the north side of the hill Gaash. 11 And the children of Israel did EVIL in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim: 15 Whithersoever they went out, the hand of the LORD was against them for EVIL, as the LORD had said, and as the LORD had sworn unto them: and they were greatly distressed. JUDGES 3 7 And the children of Israel did EVIL in the sight of the LORD, and forgat the LORD their God, and served Baalim and the groves. 12 And the children of Israel did EVIL again in the sight of the LORD: and the LORD strengthened Eglon the king of Moab against Israel, because they had done EVIL in the sight of the LORD. 27 And it came to pass, when he was come, that he blew a trumpet in the mountain of EPHRAIM, and the children of Israel went down with him from the mount, and he before them. JUDGES 4 1 And the children of Israel again did EVIL in the sight of the LORD, when Ehud was dead. 5 And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in mount EPHRAIM: and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment. --MORE-- |
