EXODUS 34 9 And he said, If now I have found GRACE in thy sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray thee, go among us; for it is a stiffnecked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for thine inheritance. LEVITICUS 26 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall FLEE when none pursueth you. 36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall FLEE, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. NUMBERS 32 1 Now the children of Reuben and the children of GAD had a very great multitude of cattle: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that, behold, the place was a place for cattle; 2 The children of GAD and the children of Reuben came and spake unto Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and unto the princes of the congregation, saying, 5 Wherefore, said they, if we have found GRACE in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan. 6 And Moses said unto the children of GAD and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brethren go to war, and shall ye sit here? 25 And the children of GAD and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth. 29 And Moses said unto them, If the children of GAD and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession: 31 And the children of GAD and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so will we do. 33 And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of GAD, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about. 34 And the children of GAD built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer, NUMBERS 34 14 For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of GAD according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance: NUMBERS 35 6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may FLEE thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may FLEE thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may FLEE thither. DEUTERONOMY 4 42 That the slayer might FLEE thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live: DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 27 13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, GAD, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali. DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. DEUTERONOMY 32 18 Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that FORMED thee. DEUTERONOMY 33 20 And of GAD he said, Blessed be he that enlargeth GAD: he dwelleth as a lion, and teareth the arm with the crown of the head. JOSHUA 4 12 And the children of Reuben, and the children of GAD, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses spake unto them: JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers. JOSHUA 13 24 And Moses gave inheritance unto the tribe of GAD, even unto the children of GAD according to their families. 28 This is the inheritance of the children of GAD after their families, the cities, and their villages. --MORE-- |
