JEREMIAH 25 15 For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my HAND, and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it. 17 Then took I the cup at the LORD's HAND, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me: 28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at thine HAND to drink, then shalt thou say unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Ye shall certainly drink. 35 And the shepherds shall have no way to FLEE, nor the principal of the flock to escape. JEREMIAH 26 14 As for me, behold, I am in your HAND: do with me as seemeth good and meet unto you. 24 Nevertheless the HAND of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the HAND of the people to put him to death. JEREMIAH 34 2 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the HAND of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire: 3 And thou shalt not escape out of his HAND, but shalt surely be taken, and delivered into his HAND; and thine eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with thee mouth to mouth, and thou shalt go to Babylon. 20 I will even give them into the HAND of their enemies, and into the HAND of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for meat unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth. 21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the HAND of their enemies, and into the HAND of them that seek their life, and into the HAND of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you. JEREMIAH 36 14 Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine HAND the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his HAND, and came unto them. JEREMIAH 37 17 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the HAND of the king of Babylon. JEREMIAH 38 3 Thus saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the HAND of the king of Babylon's army, which shall take it. 5 Then Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your HAND: for the king is not he that can do any thing against you. 16 So Zedekiah the king sware secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD liveth, that made us this soul, I will not put thee to death, neither will I give thee into the HAND of these men that seek thy life. 18 But if thou wilt not go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then shall this city be given into the HAND of the Chaldeans, and they shall burn it with fire, and thou shalt not escape out of their HAND. 19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their HAND, and they mock me. 23 So they shall bring out all thy wives and thy children to the Chaldeans: and thou shalt not escape out of their HAND, but shalt be taken by the HAND of the king of Babylon: and thou shalt cause this city to be burned with fire. JEREMIAH 39 17 But I will deliver thee in that day, saith the LORD: and thou shalt not be given into the HAND of the men of whom thou art afraid. JEREMIAH 40 4 And now, behold, I loose thee this day from the chains which were upon thine HAND. If it seem good unto thee to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto thee: but if it seem ill unto thee to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before thee: whither it seemeth good and convenient for thee to go, thither go. JEREMIAH 42 11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom ye are afraid; be not afraid of him, saith the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his HAND. JEREMIAH 43 3 But Baruch the son of Neriah setteth thee on against us, for to deliver us into the HAND of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon. 9 Take great stones in thine HAND, and hide them in the clay in the brickkiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah; JEREMIAH 44 25 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; Ye and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your HAND, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: ye will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows. 30 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the HAND of his enemies, and into the HAND of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the HAND of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life. JEREMIAH 46 6 Let not the swift FLEE away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates. 24 The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the HAND of the people of the north. 26 And I will deliver them into the HAND of those that seek their lives, and into the HAND of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the HAND of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 48 6 FLEE, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness. 9 Give wings unto Moab, that it may FLEE and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein. JEREMIAH 49 8 FLEE ye, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him. 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to FLEE, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 30 FLEE, get you far off, dwell deep, O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath taken counsel against you, and hath conceived a purpose against you. JEREMIAH 50 15 Shout against her round about: she hath given her HAND: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she hath done, do unto her. 16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handleth the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall FLEE every one to his own land. 28 The voice of them that FLEE and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple. --MORE-- |
