EXODUS 11 8 And all these thy servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get thee out, and all the people that follow thee: and after that I will go out. DEUTERONOMY 29 20 The LORD will not spare him, but then the ANGER of the LORD and his jealousy shall smoke against that man, and all the curses that are written in this book shall lie upon him, and the LORD shall blot out his name from under heaven. 23 And that the whole land thereof is brimstone, and salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor beareth, nor any grass groweth therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his ANGER, and in his wrath: 24 Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great ANGER? 27 And the ANGER of the LORD was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curses that are written in this book: 28 And the LORD rooted them out of their land in ANGER, and in wrath, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as it is this day. DEUTERONOMY 31 17 Then my ANGER shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God is not among us? 29 For I know that after my death ye will utterly corrupt yourselves, and turn aside from the way which I have commanded you; and evil will befall you in the latter days; because ye will do evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to ANGER through the work of your hands. DEUTERONOMY 32 16 They provoked him to jealousy with strange gods, with abominations provoked they him to ANGER. 21 They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they have provoked me to ANGER with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are not a people; I will provoke them to ANGER with a foolish nation. 22 For a fire is kindled in mine ANGER, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains. JOSHUA 7 1 But the children of Israel committed a trespass in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the ANGER of the LORD was kindled against the children of Israel. 26 And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So the LORD turned from the fierceness of his ANGER. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day. JOSHUA 23 16 When ye have transgressed the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the ANGER of the LORD be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which he hath given unto you. JUDGES 6 37 Behold, I will put a FLEECE of wool in the floor; and if the dew be on the FLEECE only, and it be dry upon all the earth beside, then shall I know that thou wilt save Israel by mine hand, as thou hast said. 38 And it was so: for he rose up early on the morrow, and thrust the FLEECE together, and wringed the dew out of the FLEECE, a bowl full of water. 39 And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine ANGER be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the FLEECE; let it now be dry only upon the FLEECE, and upon all the ground let there be dew. 40 And God did so that night: for it was dry upon the FLEECE only, and there was dew on all the ground. JUDGES 8 3 God hath delivered into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison of you? Then their ANGER was abated toward him, when he had said that.
