LUKE 1 32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his FATHER David: 59 And it came to pass, that on the eighth day they came to circumcise the child; and they called him Zacharias, after the name of his FATHER. 62 And they made signs to his FATHER, how he would have him called. 67 And his FATHER Zacharias was filled with the Holy Ghost, and prophesied, saying, 73 The oath which he sware to our FATHER Abraham, LUKE 2 48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy FATHER and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my FATHER's business? LUKE 3 8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our FATHER: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. LUKE 6 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your FATHER also is merciful. LUKE 8 51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the FATHER and the mother of the maiden. LUKE 9 26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his FATHER's, and of the holy angels. 42 And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his FATHER. 59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my FATHER. LUKE 10 21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O FATHER, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, FATHER; for so it seemed good in thy sight. 22 All things are delivered to me of my FATHER: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the FATHER; and who the FATHER is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him. LUKE 11 2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our FATHER which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. 11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a FATHER, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly FATHER give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? LUKE 12 30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your FATHER knoweth that ye have need of these things. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your FATHER's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. 53 The FATHER shall be divided against the son, and the son against the FATHER; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. LUKE 14 26 If any man come to me, and hate not his FATHER, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple. LUKE 15 12 And the younger of them said to his FATHER, FATHER, give me the portion of goods that falleth to me. And he divided unto them his living. 17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my FATHER's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger! 18 I will arise and go to my FATHER, and will say unto him, FATHER, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, 20 And he arose, and came to his FATHER. But when he was yet a great way off, his FATHER saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him. 21 And the son said unto him, FATHER, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son. 22 But the FATHER said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet: 27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy FATHER hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound. 28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his FATHER out, and intreated him. 29 And he answering said to his FATHER, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends: LUKE 16 24 And he cried and said, FATHER Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. 27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, FATHER, that thou wouldest send him to my FATHER's house: 30 And he said, Nay, FATHER Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. LUKE 18 20 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honour thy FATHER and thy mother. LUKE 22 29 And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my FATHER hath appointed unto me; 42 Saying, FATHER, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. LUKE 23 34 Then said Jesus, FATHER, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. 46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, FATHER, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. LUKE 24 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my FATHER upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. JOHN 1 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the FATHER,) full of grace and truth. 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the FATHER, he hath declared him. JOHN 3 35 The FATHER loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. JOHN 4 12 Art thou greater than our FATHER Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? 21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the FATHER. 23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the FATHER in spirit and in truth: for the FATHER seeketh such to worship him. 53 So the FATHER knew that it was at the same hour, in the which Jesus said unto him, Thy son liveth: and himself believed, and his whole house. JOHN 5 17 But Jesus answered them, My FATHER worketh hitherto, and I work. 18 Therefore the Jews sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his FATHER, making himself equal with God. 19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the FATHER do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the FATHER loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the FATHER raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the FATHER judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the FATHER. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the FATHER which hath sent him. 26 For as the FATHER hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; 30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the FATHER which hath sent me. 36 But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the FATHER hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the FATHER hath sent me. 37 And the FATHER himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape. 43 I am come in my FATHER's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive. 45 Do not think that I will accuse you to the FATHER: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust. --MORE-- |
