GENESIS 16 8 And he said, Hagar, Sarai's maid, whence camest thou? and whither wilt thou go? And she said, I FLEE from the face of my mistress Sarai. GENESIS 19 20 Behold now, this city is near to FLEE unto, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape thither, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live. GENESIS 27 43 Now therefore, my son, obey my voice; arise, FLEE thou to Laban my brother to Haran; GENESIS 31 1 And he heard the words of Laban's sons, saying, Jacob hath taken away all that was our father's; and of that which was our father's hath he gotten all this GLORY. 27 Wherefore didst thou FLEE away secretly, and steal away from me; and didst not tell me, that I might have sent thee away with mirth, and with songs, with tabret, and with harp? GENESIS 45 13 And ye shall tell my father of all my GLORY in Egypt, and of all that ye have seen; and ye shall haste and bring down my father hither. EXODUS 8 9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, GLORY over me: when shall I intreat for thee, and for thy servants, and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain in the river only? EXODUS 9 20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle FLEE into the houses: EXODUS 14 25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us FLEE from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians. EXODUS 16 7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the GLORY of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that ye murmur against us? 10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spake unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the GLORY of the LORD appeared in the cloud. EXODUS 21 13 And if a man lie not in wait, but God deliver him into his hand; then I will appoint thee a place whither he shall FLEE. EXODUS 24 16 And the GLORY of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud. 17 And the sight of the GLORY of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. EXODUS 28 2 And thou shalt make holy garments for Aaron thy brother for GLORY and for beauty. 40 And for Aaron's sons thou shalt make coats, and thou shalt make for them girdles, and bonnets shalt thou make for them, for GLORY and for beauty. EXODUS 29 43 And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my GLORY. EXODUS 33 18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy GLORY. 22 And it shall come to pass, while my GLORY passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by: EXODUS 40 34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the GLORY of the LORD filled the tabernacle. 35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the GLORY of the LORD filled the tabernacle. LEVITICUS 9 6 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded that ye should do: and the GLORY of the LORD shall appear unto you. 23 And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the GLORY of the LORD appeared unto all the people. LEVITICUS 26 17 And I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you; and ye shall FLEE when none pursueth you. 36 And upon them that are left alive of you I will send a faintness into their hearts in the lands of their enemies; and the sound of a shaken leaf shall chase them; and they shall FLEE, as fleeing from a sword; and they shall fall when none pursueth. NUMBERS 10 35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee FLEE before thee. NUMBERS 14 10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the GLORY of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel. 21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the GLORY of the LORD. 22 Because all those men which have seen my GLORY, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice; NUMBERS 16 19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the GLORY of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation. 42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the GLORY of the LORD appeared. NUMBERS 20 6 And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the GLORY of the LORD appeared unto them. NUMBERS 24 11 Therefore now FLEE thou to thy place: I thought to promote thee unto great honour; but, lo, the LORD hath kept thee back from honour. NUMBERS 35 6 And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may FLEE thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may FLEE thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may FLEE thither. DEUTERONOMY 4 42 That the slayer might FLEE thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live: DEUTERONOMY 5 24 And ye said, Behold, the LORD our God hath shewed us his GLORY and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that God doth talk with man, and he liveth. DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: DEUTERONOMY 28 7 The LORD shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and FLEE before thee seven ways. 25 The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and FLEE seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. DEUTERONOMY 33 17 His GLORY is like the firstling of his bullock, and his horns are like the horns of unicorns: with them he shall push the people together to the ends of the earth: and they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh. JOSHUA 7 19 And Joshua said unto Achan, My son, give, I pray thee, GLORY to the LORD God of Israel, and make confession unto him; and tell me now what thou hast done; hide it not from me. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the first, that we will FLEE before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They FLEE before us, as at the first: therefore we will FLEE before them. 20 And when the men of Ai looked behind them, they saw, and, behold, the smoke of the city ascended up to heaven, and they had no power to FLEE this way or that way: and the people that fled to the wilderness turned back upon the pursuers.
