ISAIAH 13 14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and FLEE every one into his own land. 19 And Babylon, the GLORY of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. ISAIAH 14 18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in GLORY, every one in his own house. ISAIAH 15 5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall FLEE unto Zoar, an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. ISAIAH 16 14 But now the LORD hath spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years of an hireling, and the GLORY of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude; and the remnant shall be very small and feeble. ISAIAH 17 3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the GLORY of the children of Israel, saith the LORD of hosts. 4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the GLORY of Jacob shall be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean. 13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall rebuke them, and they shall FLEE far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind. ISAIAH 20 5 And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their GLORY. 6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such is our expectation, whither we FLEE for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape? ISAIAH 21 16 For thus hath the LORD said unto me, Within a year, according to the years of an hireling, and all the GLORY of Kedar shall fail: ISAIAH 22 18 He will surely violently turn and toss thee like a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy GLORY shall be the shame of thy lord's house. 24 And they shall hang upon him all the GLORY of his father's house, the offspring and the issue, all vessels of small quantity, from the vessels of cups, even to all the vessels of flagons. ISAIAH 23 9 The LORD of hosts hath purposed it, to stain the pride of all GLORY, and to bring into contempt all the honourable of the earth. ISAIAH 24 16 From the uttermost part of the earth have we heard songs, even GLORY to the righteous. But I said, My leanness, my leanness, woe unto me! the treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously; yea, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously. ISAIAH 28 5 In that day shall the LORD of hosts be for a crown of GLORY, and for a diadem of beauty, unto the residue of his people, ISAIAH 30 16 But ye said, No; for we will FLEE upon horses; therefore shall ye FLEE: and, We will ride upon the swift; therefore shall they that pursue you be swift. 17 One thousand shall FLEE at the rebuke of one; at the rebuke of five shall ye FLEE: till ye be left as a beacon upon the top of a mountain, and as an ensign on an hill. ISAIAH 31 8 Then shall the Assyrian fall with the sword, not of a mighty man; and the sword, not of a mean man, shall devour him: but he shall FLEE from the sword, and his young men shall be discomfited. ISAIAH 35 2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the GLORY of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the GLORY of the LORD, and the excellency of our God. 10 And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 40 5 And the GLORY of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. ISAIAH 41 16 Thou shalt fan them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the whirlwind shall scatter them: and thou shalt rejoice in the LORD, and shalt GLORY in the Holy One of Israel. ISAIAH 42 8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my GLORY will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. 12 Let them give GLORY unto the LORD, and declare his praise in the islands. ISAIAH 43 7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my GLORY, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. ISAIAH 45 25 In the LORD shall all the seed of Israel be justified, and shall GLORY. ISAIAH 46 13 I bring near my righteousness; it shall not be far off, and my salvation shall not tarry: and I will place salvation in Zion for Israel my GLORY. ISAIAH 48 11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my GLORY unto another. 20 Go ye forth of Babylon, FLEE ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob. ISAIAH 51 11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall FLEE away. ISAIAH 58 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the GLORY of the LORD shall be thy rereward. ISAIAH 59 19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his GLORY from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him. ISAIAH 60 1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the GLORY of the LORD is risen upon thee. 2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his GLORY shall be seen upon thee. 7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my GLORY. 13 The GLORY of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious. 19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy GLORY. ISAIAH 61 6 But ye shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their GLORY shall ye boast yourselves. ISAIAH 62 2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy GLORY: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name. 3 Thou shalt also be a crown of GLORY in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God. ISAIAH 63 15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of thy holiness and of thy GLORY: where is thy zeal and thy strength, the sounding of thy bowels and of thy mercies toward me? are they restrained? ISAIAH 66 11 That ye may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that ye may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her GLORY. 12 For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the GLORY of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall ye suck, ye shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees. 18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my GLORY. 19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my GLORY; and they shall declare my GLORY among the Gentiles. JEREMIAH 2 11 Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but my people have changed their GLORY for that which doth not profit. JEREMIAH 4 2 And thou shalt swear, The LORD liveth, in truth, in judgment, and in righteousness; and the nations shall bless themselves in him, and in him shall they GLORY. 29 The whole city shall FLEE for the noise of the horsemen and bowmen; they shall go into thickets, and climb up upon the rocks: every city shall be forsaken, and not a man dwell therein. JEREMIAH 6 1 O ye children of Benjamin, gather yourselves to FLEE out of the midst of Jerusalem, and blow the trumpet in Tekoa, and set up a sign of fire in Bethhaccerem: for evil appeareth out of the north, and great destruction. --MORE-- |
