JEREMIAH 32 2 For then the king of Babylon's ARMY besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah's house. JEREMIAH 34 1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his ARMY, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying, 7 When the king of Babylon's ARMY fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah. 21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's ARMY, which are gone up from you. JEREMIAH 35 11 But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the ARMY of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the ARMY of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem. JEREMIAH 37 5 Then Pharaoh's ARMY was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem. 7 Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall ye say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's ARMY, which is come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land. 10 For though ye had smitten the whole ARMY of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire. 11 And it came to pass, that when the ARMY of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's ARMY, JEREMIAH 38 3 Thus saith the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's ARMY, which shall take it. JEREMIAH 39 1 In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his ARMY against Jerusalem, and they besieged it. 5 But the Chaldeans' ARMY pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him. JEREMIAH 46 2 Against Egypt, against the ARMY of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon smote in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah. 22 The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an ARMY, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood. JEREMIAH 52 4 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his ARMY, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about. 8 But the ARMY of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his ARMY was scattered from him. 14 And all the ARMY of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about. EZEKIEL 17 17 Neither shall Pharaoh with his mighty ARMY and great company make for him in the war, by casting up mounts, and building forts, to cut off many persons: EZEKIEL 22 10 In thee have they discovered their fathers' nakedness: in thee have they humbled her that was set APART for pollution. EZEKIEL 27 10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine ARMY, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness. 11 The men of Arvad with thine ARMY were upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect. EZEKIEL 29 18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his ARMY to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his ARMY, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it: 19 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his ARMY. EZEKIEL 32 31 Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his ARMY slain by the sword, saith the Lord GOD. EZEKIEL 37 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great ARMY. EZEKIEL 38 4 And I will turn thee back, and put hooks into thy jaws, and I will bring thee forth, and all thine ARMY, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armour, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords: 15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty ARMY: DANIEL 3 20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his ARMY to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace. DANIEL 4 35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the ARMY of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou? DANIEL 11 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an ARMY, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: 13 For the king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great ARMY and with much riches. 25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great ARMY; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty ARMY; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. 26 Yea, they that feed of the portion of his meat shall destroy him, and his ARMY shall overflow: and many shall fall down slain. JOEL 2 11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his ARMY: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it? 20 But I will remove far off from you the northern ARMY, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things. 25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great ARMY which I sent among you. ZECHARIAH 9 8 And I will encamp about mine house because of the ARMY, because of him that passeth by, and because of him that returneth: and no oppressor shall pass through them any more: for now have I seen with mine eyes. ZECHARIAH 12 12 And the land shall mourn, every family APART; the family of the house of David APART, and their wives APART; the family of the house of Nathan APART, and their wives APART; 13 The family of the house of Levi APART, and their wives APART; the family of Shimei APART, and their wives APART; 14 All the families that remain, every family APART, and their wives APART. MATTHEW 14 13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place APART: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities. 23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain APART to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone. MATTHEW 17 1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain APART, 19 Then came the disciples to Jesus APART, and said, Why could not we cast him out? MATTHEW 20 17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples APART in the way, and said unto them, MARK 6 31 And he said unto them, Come ye yourselves APART into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat. MARK 9 2 And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain APART by themselves: and he was transfigured before them. LUKE 16 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. ACTS 23 27 This man was taken of the Jews, and should have been killed of them: then came I with an ARMY, and rescued him, having understood that he was a Roman. JAMES 1 21 Wherefore lay APART all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. --MORE-- |
