NUMBERS 35 2 Command the children of Israel, that they GIVE unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall GIVE also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them. 4 And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall GIVE unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about. 6 And among the cities which ye shall GIVE unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may FLEE thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities. 7 So all the cities which ye shall GIVE to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye GIVE with their suburbs. 8 And the cities which ye shall GIVE shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall GIVE many; but from them that have few ye shall GIVE few: every one shall GIVE of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth. 11 Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may FLEE thither, which killeth any person at unawares. 13 And of these cities which ye shall GIVE six cities shall ye have for refuge. 14 Ye shall GIVE three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye GIVE in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge. 15 These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may FLEE thither. NUMBERS 36 2 And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to GIVE the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to GIVE the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters. DEUTERONOMY 1 8 Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to GIVE unto them and to their seed after them. 20 And I said unto you, Ye are come unto the mountain of the Amorites, which the LORD our God doth GIVE unto us. 25 And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down unto us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which the LORD our God doth GIVE us. 35 Surely there shall not one of these men of this evil generation see that good land, which I sware to GIVE unto your fathers. 36 Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh; he shall see it, and to him will I GIVE the land that he hath trodden upon, and to his children, because he hath wholly followed the LORD. 39 Moreover your little ones, which ye said should be a prey, and your children, which in that day had no knowledge between good and evil, they shall go in thither, and unto them will I GIVE it, and they shall possess it. 45 And ye returned and wept before the LORD; but the LORD would not hearken to your voice, nor GIVE ear unto you. DEUTERONOMY 2 5 Meddle not with them; for I will not GIVE you of their land, no, not so much as a foot breadth; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession. 9 And the LORD said unto me, Distress not the Moabites, neither contend with them in battle: for I will not GIVE thee of their land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession. 19 And when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, distress them not, nor meddle with them: for I will not GIVE thee of the land of the children of Ammon any possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession. 28 Thou shalt sell me meat for money, that I may eat; and GIVE me water for money, that I may drink: only I will pass through on my feet; 31 And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have begun to GIVE Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land. DEUTERONOMY 4 38 To drive out nations from before thee greater and mightier than thou art, to bring thee in, to GIVE thee their land for an inheritance, as it is this day. 42 That the slayer might FLEE thither, which should kill his neighbour unawares, and hated him not in times past; and that fleeing unto one of these cities he might live: DEUTERONOMY 5 31 But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I GIVE them to possess it. DEUTERONOMY 6 10 And it shall be, when the LORD thy God shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to GIVE thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not, 23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to GIVE us the land which he sware unto our fathers. DEUTERONOMY 7 3 Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not GIVE unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. 13 And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to GIVE thee. DEUTERONOMY 10 11 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their fathers to GIVE unto them. DEUTERONOMY 11 9 And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your fathers to GIVE unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey. 14 That I will GIVE you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. 21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers to GIVE them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. DEUTERONOMY 14 21 Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou shalt GIVE it unto the stranger that is in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk. DEUTERONOMY 15 10 Thou shalt surely GIVE him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto. 14 Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt GIVE unto him. DEUTERONOMY 16 10 And thou shalt keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God with a tribute of a freewill offering of thine hand, which thou shalt GIVE unto the LORD thy God, according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee: 17 Every man shall GIVE as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee. DEUTERONOMY 18 3 And this shall be the priest's due from the people, from them that offer a sacrifice, whether it be ox or sheep; and they shall GIVE unto the priest the shoulder, and the two cheeks, and the maw. 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou GIVE him. DEUTERONOMY 19 3 Thou shalt prepare thee a way, and divide the coasts of thy land, which the LORD thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, that every slayer may FLEE thither. 4 And this is the case of the slayer, which shall FLEE thither, that he may live: Whoso killeth his neighbour ignorantly, whom he hated not in time past; 5 As when a man goeth into the wood with his neighbour to hew wood, and his hand fetcheth a stroke with the axe to cut down the tree, and the head slippeth from the helve, and lighteth upon his neighbour, that he die; he shall FLEE unto one of those cities, and live: 8 And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy fathers, and GIVE thee all the land which he promised to GIVE unto thy fathers; DEUTERONOMY 20 16 But of the cities of these people, which the LORD thy God doth GIVE thee for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth: DEUTERONOMY 21 19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the GATE of his place; DEUTERONOMY 22 14 And GIVE occasions of speech against her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 15 Then shall the father of the damsel, and her mother, take and bring forth the tokens of the damsel's virginity unto the elders of the city in the GATE: 19 And they shall amerce him in an hundred shekels of silver, and GIVE them unto the father of the damsel, because he hath brought up an evil name upon a virgin of Israel: and she shall be his wife; he may not put her away all his days. 24 Then ye shall bring them both out unto the GATE of that city, and ye shall stone them with stones that they die; the damsel, because she cried not, being in the city; and the man, because he hath humbled his neighbour's wife: so thou shalt put away evil from among you. 29 Then the man that lay with her shall GIVE unto the damsel's father fifty shekels of silver, and she shall be his wife; because he hath humbled her, he may not put her away all his days. --MORE-- |
