DEUTERONOMY 7 8 But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your FATHERS, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy FATHERS: 13 And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy FATHERS to give thee. DEUTERONOMY 8 1 All the commandments which I command thee this day shall ye observe to do, that ye may live, and multiply, and go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your FATHERS. 3 And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy FATHERS know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live. 16 Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy FATHERS knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end; 18 But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy FATHERS, as it is this day. DEUTERONOMY 9 5 Not for thy righteousness, or for the uprightness of thine heart, dost thou go to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee, and that he may perform the word which the LORD sware unto thy FATHERS, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. DEUTERONOMY 10 11 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take thy journey before the people, that they may go in and possess the land, which I sware unto their FATHERS to give unto them. 15 Only the LORD had a delight in thy FATHERS to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day. 22 Thy FATHERS went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons; and now the LORD thy God hath made thee as the stars of heaven for multitude. DEUTERONOMY 11 9 And that ye may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD sware unto your FATHERS to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey. 21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the LORD sware unto your FATHERS to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth. DEUTERONOMY 12 1 These are the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy FATHERS giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth. DEUTERONOMY 13 6 If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy FATHERS; 17 And there shall cleave nought of the cursed thing to thine hand: that the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and shew thee mercy, and have compassion upon thee, and multiply thee, as he hath sworn unto thy FATHERS; DEUTERONOMY 18 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the first of the FLEECE of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. DEUTERONOMY 19 8 And if the LORD thy God enlarge thy coast, as he hath sworn unto thy FATHERS, and give thee all the land which he promised to give unto thy FATHERS; DEUTERONOMY 24 16 The FATHERS shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the FATHERS: every man shall be put to death for his own sin. DEUTERONOMY 26 3 And thou shalt go unto the priest that shall be in those days, and say unto him, I profess this day unto the LORD thy God, that I am come unto the country which the LORD sware unto our FATHERS for to give us. 7 And when we cried unto the LORD God of our FATHERS, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression: 15 Look down from thy holy habitation, from heaven, and bless thy people Israel, and the land which thou hast given us, as thou swarest unto our FATHERS, a land that floweth with milk and honey. DEUTERONOMY 27 3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy FATHERS hath promised thee. DEUTERONOMY 28 11 And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy FATHERS to give thee. 36 The LORD shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy FATHERS have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. 64 And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy FATHERS have known, even wood and stone. DEUTERONOMY 29 13 That he may establish thee to day for a people unto himself, and that he may be unto thee a God, as he hath said unto thee, and as he hath sworn unto thy FATHERS, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. 25 Then men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD God of their FATHERS, which he made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: DEUTERONOMY 30 5 And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy FATHERS possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy FATHERS. 9 And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy FATHERS: 20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, and that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he is thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy FATHERS, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. DEUTERONOMY 31 7 And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their FATHERS to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it. 16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thou shalt sleep with thy FATHERS; and this people will rise up, and go a whoring after the gods of the strangers of the land, whither they go to be among them, and will forsake me, and break my covenant which I have made with them. 20 For when I shall have brought them into the land which I sware unto their FATHERS, that floweth with milk and honey; and they shall have eaten and filled themselves, and waxen fat; then will they turn unto other gods, and serve them, and provoke me, and break my covenant. DEUTERONOMY 32 17 They sacrificed unto devils, not to God; to gods whom they knew not, to new gods that came newly up, whom your FATHERS feared not. JOSHUA 1 6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their FATHERS to give them. JOSHUA 4 6 That this may be a sign among you, that when your children ask their FATHERS in time to come, saying, What mean ye by these stones? 21 And he spake unto the children of Israel, saying, When your children shall ask their FATHERS in time to come, saying, What mean these stones? JOSHUA 5 6 For the children of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, till all the people that were men of war, which came out of Egypt, were consumed, because they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: unto whom the LORD sware that he would not shew them the land, which the LORD sware unto their FATHERS that he would give us, a land that floweth with milk and honey. JOSHUA 14 1 And these are the countries which the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the FATHERS of the tribes of the children of Israel, distributed for inheritance to them. JOSHUA 18 3 And Joshua said unto the children of Israel, How long are ye slack to go to possess the land, which the LORD God of your FATHERS hath given you? JOSHUA 19 51 These are the inheritances, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the FATHERS of the tribes of the children of Israel, divided for an inheritance by lot in Shiloh before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation. So they made an end of dividing the country. JOSHUA 21 1 Then came near the heads of the FATHERS of the Levites unto Eleazar the priest, and unto Joshua the son of Nun, and unto the heads of the FATHERS of the tribes of the children of Israel; 43 And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their FATHERS; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. 44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their FATHERS: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. JOSHUA 22 14 And with him ten princes, of each chief house a prince throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was an head of the house of their FATHERS among the thousands of Israel. 28 Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our FATHERS made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you. JOSHUA 24 2 And Joshua said unto all the people, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Your FATHERS dwelt on the other side of the flood in old time, even Terah, the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor: and they served other gods. 6 And I brought your FATHERS out of Egypt: and ye came unto the sea; and the Egyptians pursued after your FATHERS with chariots and horsemen unto the Red sea. 14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your FATHERS served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your FATHERS served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. 17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our FATHERS out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed: --MORE-- |
