JEREMIAH 6 27 I have set thee for a tower and a FORTRESS among my people, that thou mayest know and try their way. JEREMIAH 10 17 Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the FORTRESS. JEREMIAH 16 19 O LORD, my strength, and my FORTRESS, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. EZEKIEL 16 33 They give GIFTS to all whores: but thou givest thy GIFTS to all thy lovers, and hirest them, that they may come unto thee on every side for thy whoredom. EZEKIEL 20 26 And I polluted them in their own GIFTS, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am the LORD. 31 For when ye offer your GIFTS, when ye make your sons to pass through the fire, ye pollute yourselves with all your idols, even unto this day: and shall I be enquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I will not be enquired of by you. 39 As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith the Lord GOD; Go ye, serve ye every one his idols, and hereafter also, if ye will not hearken unto me: but pollute ye my holy name no more with your GIFTS, and with your idols. EZEKIEL 22 12 In thee have they taken GIFTS to shed blood; thou hast taken usury and increase, and thou hast greedily gained of thy neighbours by extortion, and hast forgotten me, saith the Lord GOD. DANIEL 2 6 But if ye shew the dream, and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me GIFTS and rewards and great honour: therefore shew me the dream, and the interpretation thereof. 48 Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great GIFTS, and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors over all the wise men of Babylon. DANIEL 5 17 Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let thy GIFTS be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation. DANIEL 11 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the FORTRESS of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail: 10 But his sons shall be stirred up, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces: and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through: then shall he return, and be stirred up, even to his FORTRESS. AMOS 5 9 That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the FORTRESS. MICAH 7 12 In that day also he shall come even to thee from Assyria, and from the fortified cities, and from the FORTRESS even to the river, and from sea to sea, and from mountain to mountain. MATTHEW 2 11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him GIFTS; gold, and frankincense and myrrh. MATTHEW 7 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good GIFTS unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him? LUKE 11 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good GIFTS unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? LUKE 16 26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf FIXED: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. LUKE 21 1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their GIFTS into the treasury. 5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and GIFTS, he said, ROMANS 11 29 For the GIFTS and calling of God are without repentance. ROMANS 12 6 Having then GIFTS differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 1 CORINTHIANS 12 1 Now concerning spiritual GIFTS, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 4 Now there are diversities of GIFTS, but the same Spirit. 9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the GIFTS of healing by the same Spirit; 28 And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then GIFTS of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. 30 Have all the GIFTS of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? 31 But covet earnestly the best GIFTS: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. 1 CORINTHIANS 14 1 Follow after charity, and desire spiritual GIFTS, but rather that ye may prophesy. 12 Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual GIFTS, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. 2 CORINTHIANS 10 1 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and GENTLENESS of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: GALATIANS 5 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, GENTLENESS, goodness, faith, EPHESIANS 4 8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave GIFTS unto men. HEBREWS 2 4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and GIFTS of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? HEBREWS 5 1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both GIFTS and sacrifices for sins: HEBREWS 8 3 For every high priest is ordained to offer GIFTS and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. 4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer GIFTS according to the law: HEBREWS 9 9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both GIFTS and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience; HEBREWS 11 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his GIFTS: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. REVELATION 11 10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send GIFTS one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. --END-- |
