JEREMIAH 1 3 It came ALSO in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month. JEREMIAH 2 8 The priests said not, Where is the LORD? and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors ALSO transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit. 16 ALSO the children of Noph and Tahapanes have broken the crown of thy head. 33 Why trimmest thou thy way to seek love? therefore hast thou ALSO taught the wicked ones thy ways. 34 ALSO in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these. 36 Why gaddest thou about so much to change thy way? thou ALSO shalt be ashamed of Egypt, as thou wast ashamed of Assyria. JEREMIAH 3 6 The LORD said ALSO unto me in the days of Josiah the king, Hast thou seen that which backsliding Israel hath done? she is gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there hath played the harlot. 8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot ALSO. JEREMIAH 4 12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now ALSO will I give sentence against them. JEREMIAH 6 14 They have healed ALSO the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace. 17 ALSO I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. JEREMIAH 27 6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him ALSO to serve him. 12 I spake ALSO to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. 16 ALSO I spake to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you. JEREMIAH 28 14 For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field ALSO. JEREMIAH 29 24 Thus shalt thou ALSO speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying, JEREMIAH 30 19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will ALSO glorify them, and they shall not be small. 20 Their children ALSO shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them. JEREMIAH 31 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel ALSO shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will ALSO cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. JEREMIAH 33 21 Then may ALSO my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers. JEREMIAH 35 15 I have sent ALSO unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me. JEREMIAH 36 6 Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD's house upon the fasting day: and ALSO thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities. JEREMIAH 38 25 But if the princes hear that I have talked with thee, and they come unto thee, and say unto thee, Declare unto us now what thou hast said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put thee to death; ALSO what the king said unto thee: JEREMIAH 39 6 Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: ALSO the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah. JEREMIAH 40 5 Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go back ALSO to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon hath made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go wheresoever it seemeth convenient unto thee to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go. JEREMIAH 41 3 Ishmael ALSO slew all the Jews that were with him, even with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans that were found there, and the men of war. JEREMIAH 43 13 He shall break ALSO the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire. JEREMIAH 46 21 ALSO her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they ALSO are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation. JEREMIAH 48 2 There shall be no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. ALSO thou shalt be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue thee. 7 For because thou hast trusted in thy works and in thy treasures, thou shalt ALSO be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his priests and his princes together. 8 And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley ALSO shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD hath spoken. 26 Make ye him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD: Moab ALSO shall wallow in his vomit, and he ALSO shall be in derision. 34 From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an heifer of three years old: for the waters ALSO of Nimrim shall be desolate. JEREMIAH 49 17 ALSO Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof. JEREMIAH 50 24 I have laid a snare for thee, and thou art ALSO taken, O Babylon, and thou wast not aware: thou art found, and ALSO caught, because thou hast striven against the LORD. JEREMIAH 51 22 With thee ALSO will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; 23 I will ALSO break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers. --MORE-- |
