NUMBERS 31 3 And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go AGAINST the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian. 7 And they warred AGAINST the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. 16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass AGAINST the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD. DEUTERONOMY 3 1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out AGAINST us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 29 So we abode in the valley over AGAINST Bethpeor. DEUTERONOMY 4 26 I call heaven and earth to witness AGAINST you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed. 46 On this side Jordan, in the valley over AGAINST Bethpeor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel smote, after they were come forth out of Egypt: DEUTERONOMY 5 20 Neither shalt thou bear false witness AGAINST thy neighbour. DEUTERONOMY 7 4 For they will turn away thy son from following me, that they may serve other gods: so will the anger of the LORD be kindled AGAINST you, and destroy thee suddenly. DEUTERONOMY 8 19 And it shall be, if thou do at all forget the LORD thy God, and walk after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I testify AGAINST you this day that ye shall surely perish. DEUTERONOMY 9 7 Remember, and forget not, how thou provokedst the LORD thy God to wrath in the wilderness: from the day that thou didst depart out of the land of Egypt, until ye came unto this place, ye have been rebellious AGAINST the LORD. 16 And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned AGAINST the LORD your God, and had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which the LORD had commanded you. 19 For I was afraid of the anger and hot displeasure, wherewith the LORD was wroth AGAINST you to destroy you. But the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also. 20 And the LORD was very angry with AARON to have destroyed him: and I prayed for AARON also the same time. 23 Likewise when the LORD sent you from Kadeshbarnea, saying, Go up and possess the land which I have given you; then ye rebelled AGAINST the commandment of the LORD your God, and ye believed him not, nor hearkened to his voice. 24 Ye have been rebellious AGAINST the LORD from the day that I knew you. DEUTERONOMY 10 6 And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera: there AARON died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest's office in his stead. DEUTERONOMY 11 17 And then the LORD's wrath be kindled AGAINST you, and he shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest ye perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD giveth you. 30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goeth down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign over AGAINST Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh? DEUTERONOMY 15 9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil AGAINST thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD AGAINST thee, and it be sin unto thee. DEUTERONOMY 19 11 But if any man hate his neighbour, and lie in wait for him, and rise up AGAINST him, and smite him mortally that he die, and fleeth into one of these cities: 15 One witness shall not rise up AGAINST a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. 16 If a false witness rise up AGAINST any man to testify AGAINST him that which is wrong; 18 And the judges shall make diligent inquisition: and, behold, if the witness be a false witness, and hath testified falsely AGAINST his brother; DEUTERONOMY 20 1 When thou goest out to battle AGAINST thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle AGAINST your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; 4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you AGAINST your enemies, to save you. 10 When thou comest nigh unto a city to fight AGAINST it, then proclaim peace unto it. 12 And if it will make no peace with thee, but will make war AGAINST thee, then thou shalt besiege it: 18 That they teach you not to do after all their abominations, which they have done unto their gods; so should ye sin AGAINST the LORD your God. 19 When thou shalt besiege a city a long time, in making war AGAINST it to take it, thou shalt not destroy the trees thereof by forcing an axe AGAINST them: for thou mayest eat of them, and thou shalt not cut them down (for the tree of the field is man's life) to employ them in the siege: 20 Only the trees which thou knowest that they be not trees for meat, thou shalt destroy and cut them down; and thou shalt build bulwarks AGAINST the city that maketh war with thee, until it be subdued. DEUTERONOMY 21 10 When thou goest forth to war AGAINST thine enemies, and the LORD thy God hath delivered them into thine hands, and thou hast taken them captive, DEUTERONOMY 22 14 And give occasions of speech AGAINST her, and bring up an evil name upon her, and say, I took this woman, and when I came to her, I found her not a maid: 17 And, lo, he hath given occasions of speech AGAINST her, saying, I found not thy daughter a maid; and yet these are the tokens of my daughter's virginity. And they shall spread the cloth before the elders of the city. 26 But unto the damsel thou shalt do nothing; there is in the damsel no sin worthy of death: for as when a man riseth AGAINST his neighbour, and slayeth him, even so is this matter: --MORE-- |
