ESTHER 6 13 And Haman told Zeresh his wife and all his friends every thing that had befallen him. Then said his wise men and Zeresh his wife unto him, If Mordecai be of the seed of the Jews, before whom thou hast begun to fall, thou shalt not prevail AGAINST him, but shalt surely fall before him. ESTHER 7 7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined AGAINST him by the king. ESTHER 8 3 And Esther spake yet again before the king, and fell down at his feet, and besought him with tears to put away the mischief of Haman the Agagite, and his device that he had devised AGAINST the Jews. 13 The copy of the writing for a commandment to be given in every province was published unto all people, and that the Jews should be ready AGAINST that day to avenge themselves on their enemies. ESTHER 9 24 Because Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had devised AGAINST the Jews to destroy them, and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, to consume them, and to destroy them; 25 But when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letters that his wicked device, which he devised AGAINST the Jews, should return upon his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows. JOB 2 3 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? and still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me AGAINST him, to destroy him without cause. JOB 6 4 For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, the poison whereof drinketh up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array AGAINST me. JOB 7 20 I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark AGAINST thee, so that I am a burden to myself? JOB 8 4 If thy children have sinned AGAINST him, and he have cast them away for their transgression; JOB 9 4 He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength: who hath hardened himself AGAINST him, and hath prospered? JOB 11 5 But oh that God would speak, and open his lips AGAINST thee; JOB 13 8 Will ye ACCEPT his person? will ye contend for God? 10 He will surely reprove you, if ye do secretly ACCEPT persons. 26 For thou writest bitter things AGAINST me, and makest me to possess the iniquities of my youth. JOB 14 20 Thou prevailest for ever AGAINST him, and he passeth: thou changest his countenance, and sendest him away. JOB 15 6 Thine own mouth condemneth thee, and not I: yea, thine own lips testify AGAINST thee. 13 That thou turnest thy spirit AGAINST God, and lettest such words go out of thy mouth? 24 Trouble and anguish shall make him afraid; they shall prevail AGAINST him, as a king ready to the battle. 25 For he stretcheth out his hand AGAINST God, and strengtheneth himself AGAINST the Almighty. JOB 16 4 I also could speak as ye do: if your soul were in my soul's stead, I could heap up words AGAINST you, and shake mine head at you. 8 And thou hast filled me with wrinkles, which is a witness AGAINST me: and my leanness rising up in me beareth witness to my face. 10 They have gaped upon me with their mouth; they have smitten me upon the cheek reproachfully; they have gathered themselves together AGAINST me. JOB 17 8 Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself AGAINST the hypocrite. JOB 18 9 The gin shall take him by the heel, and the robber shall prevail AGAINST him.
