2 KINGS 25 1 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he, and all his host, AGAINST Jerusalem, and pitched AGAINST it; and they built forts AGAINST it round about. 4 And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden: (now the Chaldees were AGAINST the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain. 1 CHRONICLES 2 24 And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then ABIAH Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa. 1 CHRONICLES 5 11 And the children of Gad dwelt over AGAINST them, in the land of Bashan unto Salcah: 20 And they were helped AGAINST them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand, and all that were with them: for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them; because they put their trust in him. 25 And they transgressed AGAINST the God of their fathers, and went a whoring after the gods of the people of the land, whom God destroyed before them. 1 CHRONICLES 6 3 And the children of Amram; AARON, and Moses, and Miriam. The sons also of AARON; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 28 And the sons of Samuel; the firstborn Vashni, and ABIAH. 49 But AARON and his sons offered upon the altar of the burnt offering, and on the altar of incense, and were appointed for all the work of the place most holy, and to make an atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded. 50 And these are the sons of AARON; Eleazar his son, Phinehas his son, Abishua his son, 54 Now these are their dwelling places throughout their castles in their coasts, of the sons of AARON, of the families of the Kohathites: for theirs was the lot. 57 And to the sons of AARON they gave the cities of Judah, namely, Hebron, the city of refuge, and Libnah with her suburbs, and Jattir, and Eshtemoa, with their suburbs, 1 CHRONICLES 7 8 And the sons of Becher; Zemira, and Joash, and Eliezer, and Elioenai, and Omri, and Jerimoth, and ABIAH, and Anathoth, and Alameth. All these are the sons of Becher. 1 CHRONICLES 8 32 And Mikloth begat Shimeah. And these also dwelt with their brethren in Jerusalem, over AGAINST them. 1 CHRONICLES 9 38 And Mikloth begat Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem, over AGAINST their brethren. 1 CHRONICLES 10 1 Now the Philistines fought AGAINST Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa. 3 And the battle went sore AGAINST Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers. 13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed AGAINST the LORD, even AGAINST the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; 1 CHRONICLES 11 11 And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear AGAINST three hundred slain by him at one time. 20 And Abishai the brother of Joab, he was chief of the three: for lifting up his spear AGAINST three hundred, he slew them, and had a name among the three. 1 CHRONICLES 12 19 And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines AGAINST Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads. 21 And they helped David AGAINST the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host. 1 CHRONICLES 13 10 And the anger of the LORD was kindled AGAINST Uzza, and he smote him, because he put his hand to the ark: and there he died before God. 1 CHRONICLES 14 8 And when the Philistines heard that David was anointed king over all Israel, all the Philistines went up to seek David. And David heard of it, and went out AGAINST them. 10 And David enquired of God, saying, Shall I go up AGAINST the Philistines? And wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand. 14 Therefore David enquired again of God; and God said unto him, Go not up after them; turn away from them, and come upon them over AGAINST the mulberry trees. 1 CHRONICLES 15 4 And David assembled the children of AARON, and the Levites: 1 CHRONICLES 18 10 He sent Hadoram his son to king David, to enquire of his welfare, and to congratulate him, because he had fought AGAINST Hadarezer, and smitten him; (for Hadarezer had war with Tou;) and with him all manner of vessels of gold and silver and brass. 1 CHRONICLES 19 10 Now when Joab saw that the battle was set AGAINST him before and behind, he chose out of all the choice of Israel, and put them in array AGAINST the Syrians. 11 And the rest of the people he delivered unto the hand of Abishai his brother, and they set themselves in array AGAINST the children of Ammon. 17 And it was told David; and he gathered all Israel, and passed over Jordan, and came upon them, and set the battle in array AGAINST them. So when David had put the battle in array AGAINST the Syrians, they fought with him. 1 CHRONICLES 21 1 And Satan stood up AGAINST Israel, and provoked David to number Israel. 4 Nevertheless the king's word prevailed AGAINST Joab. Wherefore Joab departed, and went throughout all Israel, and came to Jerusalem. 1 CHRONICLES 23 13 The sons of Amram; AARON and Moses: and AARON was separated, that he should sanctify the most holy things, he and his sons for ever, to burn incense before the LORD, to minister unto him, and to bless in his name for ever. 28 Because their office was to wait on the sons of AARON for the service of the house of the LORD, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God; 32 And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of AARON their brethren, in the service of the house of the LORD. 1 CHRONICLES 24 1 Now these are the divisions of the sons of AARON. The sons of AARON; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 19 These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under AARON their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him. 31 These likewise cast lots over AGAINST their brethren the sons of AARON in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over AGAINST their younger brethren. 1 CHRONICLES 25 8 And they cast lots, ward AGAINST ward, as well the small as the great, the teacher as the scholar. 1 CHRONICLES 26 12 Among these were the divisions of the porters, even among the chief men, having wards one AGAINST another, to minister in the house of the LORD. 16 To Shuppim and Hosah the lot came forth westward, with the gate Shallecheth, by the causeway of the going up, ward AGAINST ward. 32 And his brethren, men of valour, were two thousand and seven hundred chief fathers, whom king David made rulers over the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasseh, for every matter pertaining to God, and AFFAIRS of the king. 1 CHRONICLES 27 24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it AGAINST Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David. 2 CHRONICLES 4 10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, over AGAINST the south. 2 CHRONICLES 6 22 If a man sin AGAINST his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to make him swear, and the oath come before thine altar in this house; 24 And if thy people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because they have sinned AGAINST thee; and shall return and confess thy name, and pray and make supplication before thee in this house; 26 When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned AGAINST thee; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou dost afflict them; 34 If thy people go out to war AGAINST their enemies by the way that thou shalt send them, and they pray unto thee toward this city which thou hast chosen, and the house which I have built for thy name; 36 If they sin AGAINST thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near; 39 Then hear thou from the heavens, even from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned AGAINST thee. --MORE-- |
