LUKE 21 10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise AGAINST nation, and kingdom AGAINST kingdom: LUKE 22 52 Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as AGAINST a thief, with swords and staves? 53 When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands AGAINST me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness. 65 And many other things blasphemously spake they AGAINST him. JOHN 12 7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: AGAINST the day of my burying hath she kept this. JOHN 13 18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel AGAINST me. 29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of AGAINST the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor. JOHN 18 29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring ye AGAINST this man? JOHN 19 11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all AGAINST me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. 12 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar's friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh AGAINST Caesar. ACTS 4 14 And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing AGAINST it. 26 The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together AGAINST the Lord, and AGAINST his Christ. 27 For of a truth AGAINST thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together, ACTS 5 39 But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it; lest haply ye be found even to fight AGAINST God. ACTS 6 1 And in those days, when the number of the disciples was multiplied, there arose a murmuring of the Grecians AGAINST the Hebrews, because their widows were neglected in the daily ministration. 11 Then they suborned men, which said, We have heard him speak blasphemous words AGAINST Moses, and AGAINST God. 13 And set up false witnesses, which said, This man ceaseth not to speak blasphemous words AGAINST this holy place, and the law: ACTS 7 40 Saying unto AARON, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. ACTS 8 1 And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution AGAINST the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. ACTS 9 1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter AGAINST the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest, 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick AGAINST the pricks. 29 And he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed AGAINST the Grecians: but they went about to slay him. ACTS 13 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spake AGAINST those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming. 50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution AGAINST Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. 51 But they shook off the dust of their feet AGAINST them, and came unto Iconium. ACTS 14 2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected AGAINST the brethren. ACTS 16 22 And the multitude rose up together AGAINST them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them. ACTS 18 12 And when Gallio was the deputy of Achaia, the Jews made insurrection with one accord AGAINST Paul, and brought him to the judgment seat, ACTS 19 16 And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed AGAINST them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 36 Seeing then that these things cannot be spoken AGAINST, ye ought to be quiet, and to do nothing rashly. 38 Wherefore if Demetrius, and the craftsmen which are with him, have a matter AGAINST any man, the law is open, and there are deputies: let them implead one another. ACTS 20 15 And we sailed thence, and came the next day over AGAINST Chios; and the next day we arrived at Samos, and tarried at Trogyllium; and the next day we came to Miletus. ACTS 21 28 Crying out, Men of Israel, help: This is the man, that teacheth all men every where AGAINST the people, and the law, and this place: and further brought Greeks also into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place. ACTS 22 24 The chief captain commanded him to be brought into the castle, and bade that he should be examined by scourging; that he might know wherefore they cried so AGAINST him. ACTS 23 9 And there arose a great cry: and the scribes that were of the Pharisees' part arose, and strove, saying, We find no evil in this man: but if a spirit or an angel hath spoken to him, let us not fight AGAINST God. 30 And when it was told me how that the Jews laid wait for the man, I sent straightway to thee, and gave commandment to his accusers also to say before thee what they had AGAINST him. Farewell. ACTS 24 1 And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor AGAINST Paul. 3 We ACCEPT it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness. 19 Who ought to have been here before thee, and object, if they had ought AGAINST me. ACTS 25 2 Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him AGAINST Paul, and besought him, 3 And desired favour AGAINST him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him. 7 And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints AGAINST Paul, which they could not prove. 8 While he answered for himself, Neither AGAINST the law of the Jews, neither AGAINST the temple, nor yet AGAINST Caesar, have I offended any thing at all. 15 About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring to have judgment AGAINST him. 16 To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before that he which is accused have the accusers face to face, and have licence to answer for himself concerning the crime laid AGAINST him. 18 AGAINST whom when the accusers stood up, they brought none accusation of such things as I supposed: 19 But had certain questions AGAINST him of their own superstition, and of one Jesus, which was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive. 27 For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not withal to signify the crimes laid AGAINST him. ACTS 26 10 Which thing I also did in Jerusalem: and many of the saints did I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I gave my voice AGAINST them. 11 And I punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly mad AGAINST them, I persecuted them even unto strange cities. 14 And when we were all fallen to the earth, I heard a voice speaking unto me, and saying in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? it is hard for thee to kick AGAINST the pricks. --MORE-- |
