The sons of AARON; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 19 These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under AARON their father, as the LORD God of Israel had commanded him. 31 These likewise cast lots over against their brethren the sons of AARON in the presence of David the king, and Zadok, and Ahimelech, and the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites, even the principal fathers over against their younger brethren. 1 CHRONICLES 29 28 And he died in a good old AGE, full of days, riches, and honour: and Solomon his son reigned in his stead. 2 CHRONICLES 10 9 And he said unto them, What ADVICE give ye that we may return answer to this people, which have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that thy father did put upon us? 14 And answered them after the ADVICE of the young men, saying, My father made your yoke heavy, but I will add thereto: my father chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. 2 CHRONICLES 13 9 Have ye not cast out the priests of the LORD, the sons of AARON, and the Levites, and have made you priests after the manner of the nations of other lands? so that whosoever cometh to consecrate himself with a young bullock and seven rams, the same may be a priest of them that are no gods. 10 But as for us, the LORD is our God, and we have not forsaken him; and the priests, which minister unto the LORD, are the sons of AARON, and the Levites wait upon their business: 2 CHRONICLES 25 17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took ADVICE, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face. 2 CHRONICLES 26 18 And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of AARON, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed; neither shall it be for thine honour from the LORD God. 2 CHRONICLES 29 21 And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of AARON to offer them on the altar of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 31 19 Also of the sons of AARON the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites. 2 CHRONICLES 35 14 And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of AARON were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of AARON. 2 CHRONICLES 36 17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for AGE: he gave them all into his hand.
