And the angel of the LORD stood by the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite. 17 And David said unto God, Is it not I that commanded the people to be numbered? even I it is that have sinned and done evil indeed; but AS for these sheep, what have they done? let thine hand, I pray thee, O LORD my God, be on me, and on my father's house; but not on thy people, that they should be plagued. 21 And AS David came to Ornan, Ornan looked and saw David, and went out of the threshingfloor, and bowed himself to David with his face to the ground. 23 And Ornan said unto David, Take it to thee, and let my lord the king do that which is good in his eyes: lo, I give thee the oxen ALSO for burnt offerings, and the threshing instruments for wood, and the wheat for the meat offering; I give it all. 1 CHRONICLES 22 4 ALSO cedar trees in abundance: for the Zidonians and they of Tyre brought much cedar wood to David. 7 And David said to Solomon, My son, AS for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God: 11 Now, my son, the LORD be with thee; and prosper thou, and build the house of the LORD thy God, AS he hath said of thee. 14 Now, behold, in my trouble I have prepared for the house of the LORD an hundred thousand talents of gold, and a thousand thousand talents of silver; and of brass and iron without weight; for it is in abundance: timber ALSO and stone have I prepared; and thou mayest add thereto. 17 David ALSO commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying, 1 CHRONICLES 23 24 These were the sons of Levi after the house of their fathers; even the chief of the fathers, AS they were counted by number of names by their polls, that did the work for the service of the house of the LORD, from the age of twenty years and upward. 26 And ALSO unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof. 1 CHRONICLES 24 19 These were the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the LORD, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, AS the LORD God of Israel had commanded him. 30 The sons ALSO of Mushi; Mahli, and Eder, and Jerimoth. These were the sons of the Levites after the house of their fathers. 1 CHRONICLES 25 8 And they cast lots, ward against ward, AS well the small AS the great, the teacher AS the scholar. 1 CHRONICLES 26 6 ALSO unto Shemaiah his son were sons born, that ruled throughout the house of their father: for they were mighty men of valour. 10 ALSO Hosah, of the children of Merari, had sons; Simri the chief, (for though he was not the firstborn, yet his father made him the chief;) 13 And they cast lots, AS well the small AS the great, according to the house of their fathers, for every gate. 21 AS concerning the sons of Laadan; the sons of the Gershonite Laadan, chief fathers, even of Laadan the Gershonite, were Jehieli. 1 CHRONICLES 27 4 And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth ALSO the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand. 30 Over the camels ALSO was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite: 32 ALSO Jonathan David's uncle was a counsellor, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons: 1 CHRONICLES 28 2 Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: AS for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building: 7 Moreover I will establish his kingdom for ever, if he be constant to do my commandments and my judgments, AS at this day. 13 ALSO for the courses of the priests and the Levites, and for all the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and for all the vessels of service in the house of the LORD. 14 He gave of gold by weight for things of gold, for all instruments of all manner of service; silver ALSO for all instruments of silver by weight, for all instruments of every kind of service: 15 Even the weight for the candlesticks of gold, and for their lamps of gold, by weight for every candlestick, and for the lamps thereof: and for the candlesticks of silver by weight, both for the candlestick, and ALSO for the lamps thereof, according to the use of every candlestick. 17 ALSO pure gold for the fleshhooks, and the bowls, and the cups: and for the golden basons he gave gold by weight for every bason; and likewise silver by weight for every bason of silver: 21 And, behold, the courses of the priests and the Levites, even they shall be with thee for all the service of the house of God: and there shall be with thee for all manner of workmanship every willing skilful man, for any manner of service: ALSO the princes and all the people will be wholly at thy commandment. --MORE-- |
