MATTHEW 9 9 And AS Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. 10 And it came to pass, AS Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 15 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber mourn, AS long AS the bridegroom is with them? but the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken from them, and then shall they fast. 32 AS they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a devil. 36 But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion on them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, AS sheep having no shepherd. MATTHEW 10 4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who ALSO betrayed him. 7 And AS ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. 16 Behold, I send you forth AS sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise AS serpents, and harmless AS doves. 25 It is enough for the disciple that he be AS his master, and the servant AS his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household? 32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess ALSO before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I ALSO deny before my Father which is in heaven. MATTHEW 11 7 And AS they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind? MATTHEW 12 13 Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like AS the other. 40 For AS Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first. Even so shall it be ALSO unto this wicked generation. MATTHEW 13 22 He ALSO that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful. 23 But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which ALSO beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. 26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares ALSO. 29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up ALSO the wheat with them. 40 AS therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth AS the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear. MATTHEW 14 5 And when he would have put him to death, he feared the multitude, because they counted him AS a prophet. 36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and AS many AS touched were made perfectly whole. MATTHEW 15 3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye ALSO transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? 16 And Jesus said, Are ye ALSO yet without understanding? 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even AS thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour. 33 And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, AS to fill so great a multitude? MATTHEW 16 1 The Pharisees ALSO with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven. 18 And I say ALSO unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. MATTHEW 17 2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine AS the sun, and his raiment was white AS the light. 9 And AS they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall ALSO the Son of man suffer of them. 20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith AS a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. MATTHEW 18 3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become AS little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself AS this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee AS an heathen man and a publican. 19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth AS touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 25 But forasmuch AS he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made. 33 Shouldest not thou ALSO have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even AS I had pity on thee? 35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do ALSO unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. MATTHEW 19 3 The Pharisees ALSO came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause? 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour AS thyself. 28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye ALSO shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. MATTHEW 20 4 And said unto them; Go ye ALSO into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way. 7 They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye ALSO into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive. 14 Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even AS unto thee. 28 Even AS the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. 29 And AS they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him. MATTHEW 21 6 And the disciples went, and did AS Jesus commanded them, 18 Now in the morning AS he returned into the city, he hungered. 21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but ALSO if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done. 23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him AS he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority? 24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I ALSO will ask you one thing, which if ye tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John AS a prophet. --MORE-- |
