ISAIAH 1 2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD hath spoken, I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled AGAINST me. ISAIAH 5 25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled AGAINST his people, and he hath stretched forth his hand AGAINST them, and hath smitten them: and the hills did tremble, and their carcases were torn in the midst of the streets. ISAIAH 13 17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes AGAINST them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. ISAIAH 31 2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring evil, and will not call back his words: but will arise AGAINST the house of the evildoers, and AGAINST the help of them that work iniquity. 4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth AGAINST him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof. ISAIAH 32 6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error AGAINST the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail. ISAIAH 36 1 Now it came to pass in the fourteenth year of king Hezekiah, that Sennacherib king of Assyria came up AGAINST all the defenced cities of Judah, and took them. 5 I say, sayest thou, (but they are but vain words) I have counsel and strength for war: now on whom dost thou trust, that thou rebellest AGAINST me? 10 And am I now come up without the LORD AGAINST this land to destroy it? the LORD said unto me, Go up AGAINST this land, and destroy it. ISAIAH 37 8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring AGAINST Libnah: for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish. 21 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent unto Hezekiah, saying, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Whereas thou hast prayed to me AGAINST Sennacherib king of Assyria: 23 Whom hast thou reproached and blasphemed? and AGAINST whom hast thou exalted thy voice, and lifted up thine eyes on high? even AGAINST the Holy One of Israel. 28 But I know thy abode, and thy going out, and thy coming in, and thy rage AGAINST me. 29 Because thy rage AGAINST me, and thy tumult, is come up into mine ears, therefore will I put my hook in thy nose, and my bridle in thy lips, and I will turn thee back by the way by which thou camest. 33 Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come into this city, nor shoot an arrow there, nor come before it with shields, nor cast a bank AGAINST it. ISAIAH 41 11 Behold, all they that were incensed AGAINST thee shall be ashamed and confounded: they shall be as nothing; and they that strive with thee shall perish. 12 Thou shalt seek them, and shalt not find them, even them that contended with thee: they that war AGAINST thee shall be as nothing, and as a thing of nought. ISAIAH 42 13 The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, he shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: he shall cry, yea, roar; he shall prevail AGAINST his enemies. 24 Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he AGAINST whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.
