LEVITICUS 8 35 Therefore shall ye ABIDE at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation day and night seven days, and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not: for so I am commanded. LEVITICUS 17 10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face AGAINST that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people. LEVITICUS 20 3 And I will set my face AGAINST that man, and will cut him off from among his people; because he hath given of his seed unto Molech, to defile my sanctuary, and to profane my holy name. 5 Then I will set my face AGAINST that man, and AGAINST his family, and will cut him off, and all that go a whoring after him, to commit whoredom with Molech, from among their people. 6 And the soul that turneth after such as have familiar spirits, and after wizards, to go a whoring after them, I will even set my face AGAINST that soul, and will cut him off from among his people. NUMBERS 8 2 Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over AGAINST the candlestick. 3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over AGAINST the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses. NUMBERS 12 1 And Miriam and Aaron spake AGAINST Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the similitude of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were ye not afraid to speak AGAINST my servant Moses? 9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled AGAINST them; and he departed. NUMBERS 13 31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up AGAINST the people; for they are stronger than we. NUMBERS 14 2 And all the children of Israel murmured AGAINST Moses and AGAINST Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness! 9 Only rebel not ye AGAINST the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not. 27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur AGAINST me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur AGAINST me. 29 Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured AGAINST me. 35 I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together AGAINST me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die. 36 And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur AGAINST him, by bringing up a slander upon the land, NUMBERS 16 3 And they gathered themselves together AGAINST Moses and AGAINST Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? 11 For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together AGAINST the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur AGAINST him? 19 And Korah gathered all the congregation AGAINST them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation. 38 The censers of these sinners AGAINST their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel. 41 But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured AGAINST Moses and AGAINST Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD. 42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered AGAINST Moses and AGAINST Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared. NUMBERS 17 5 And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur AGAINST you. 10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token AGAINST the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not. NUMBERS 20 2 And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together AGAINST Moses and AGAINST Aaron. 18 And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out AGAINST thee with the sword. 20 And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out AGAINST him with much people, and with a strong hand. 24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled AGAINST my word at the water of Meribah. NUMBERS 21 1 And when king Arad the Canaanite, which dwelt in the south, heard tell that Israel came by the way of the spies; then he fought AGAINST Israel, and took some of them prisoners. 5 And the people spake AGAINST God, and AGAINST Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread. 7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken AGAINST the LORD, and AGAINST thee; pray unto the LORD, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people. 23 And Sihon would not suffer Israel to pass through his border: but Sihon gathered all his people together, and went out AGAINST Israel into the wilderness: and he came to Jahaz, and fought AGAINST Israel. 26 For Heshbon was the city of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who had fought AGAINST the former king of Moab, and taken all his land out of his hand, even unto Arnon. 33 And they turned and went up by the way of Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan went out AGAINST them, he, and all his people, to the battle at Edrei. NUMBERS 22 5 He sent messengers therefore unto Balaam the son of Beor to Pethor, which is by the river of the land of the children of his people, to call him, saying, Behold, there is a people come out from Egypt: behold, they cover the face of the earth, and they ABIDE over AGAINST me: 22 And God's anger was kindled because he went: and the angel of the LORD stood in the way for an adversary AGAINST him. Now he was riding upon his ass, and his two servants were with him. 25 And when the ass saw the angel of the LORD, she thrust herself unto the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot AGAINST the wall: and he smote her again. 34 And Balaam said unto the angel of the LORD, I have sinned; for I knew not that thou stoodest in the way AGAINST me: now therefore, if it displease thee, I will get me back again. --MORE-- |
