EZEKIEL 45 6 And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, over AGAINST the oblation of the holy portion: it shall be for the whole house of Israel. 7 And a portion shall be for the prince on the one side and on the other side of the oblation of the holy portion, and of the possession of the city, before the oblation of the holy portion, and before the possession of the city, from the west side westward, and from the east side eastward: and the length shall be over AGAINST one of the portions, from the west border unto the east border. EZEKIEL 46 9 But when the people of the land shall come before the LORD in the solemn feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to worship shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go forth by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in, but shall go forth over AGAINST it. DANIEL 3 19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed AGAINST Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated. 29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language, which speak any thing amiss AGAINST the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort. DANIEL 5 5 In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote over AGAINST the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote. 6 Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one AGAINST another. 23 But hast lifted up thyself AGAINST the Lord of heaven; and they have brought the vessels of his house before thee, and thou, and thy lords, thy wives, and thy concubines, have drunk wine in them; and thou hast praised the gods of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear, nor know: and the God in whose hand thy breath is, and whose are all thy ways, hast thou not glorified: DANIEL 6 4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion AGAINST Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion AGAINST this Daniel, except we find it AGAINST him concerning the law of his God. DANIEL 7 21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed AGAINST them; 25 And he shall speak great words AGAINST the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time. DANIEL 8 7 And I saw him come close unto the ram, and he was moved with choler AGAINST him, and smote the ram, and brake his two horns: and there was no power in the ram to stand before him, but he cast him down to the ground, and stamped upon him: and there was none that could deliver the ram out of his hand. 12 And an host was given him AGAINST the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. 25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up AGAINST the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand. DANIEL 9 7 O LORD, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed AGAINST thee. 8 O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned AGAINST thee. 9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled AGAINST him; 11 Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned AGAINST him. 12 And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake AGAINST us, and AGAINST our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil: for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem. DANIEL 11 2 And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all AGAINST the realm of Grecia. 7 But out of a branch of her roots shall one stand up in his estate, which shall come with an army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal AGAINST them, and shall prevail: 14 And in those times there shall many stand up AGAINST the king of the south: also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vision; but they shall fall. 16 But he that cometh AGAINST him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. 24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices AGAINST the strong holds, even for a time. 25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage AGAINST the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices AGAINST him. 28 Then shall he return into his land with great riches; and his heart shall be AGAINST the holy covenant; and he shall do exploits, and return to his own land. 30 For the ships of Chittim shall come AGAINST him: therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation AGAINST the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant. 32 And such as do wickedly AGAINST the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things AGAINST the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. 40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come AGAINST him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over. HOSEA 3 3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt ABIDE for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be for another man: so will I also be for thee. 4 For the children of Israel shall ABIDE many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: HOSEA 4 7 As they were increased, so they sinned AGAINST me: therefore will I change their glory into shame. HOSEA 5 7 They have dealt treacherously AGAINST the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now shall a month devour them with their portions. HOSEA 6 7 But they like men have transgressed the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously AGAINST me. HOSEA 7 13 Woe unto them! for they have fled from me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed AGAINST me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies AGAINST me. 14 And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they assemble themselves for corn and wine, and they rebel AGAINST me. 15 Though I have bound and strengthened their arms, yet do they imagine mischief AGAINST me. HOSEA 8 1 Set the trumpet to thy mouth. He shall come as an eagle AGAINST the house of the LORD, because they have transgressed my covenant, and trespassed AGAINST my law. 5 Thy calf, O Samaria, hath cast thee off; mine anger is kindled AGAINST them: how long will it be ere they attain to innocency? HOSEA 10 9 O Israel, thou hast sinned from the days of Gibeah: there they stood: the battle in Gibeah AGAINST the children of iniquity did not overtake them. 10 It is in my desire that I should chastise them; and the people shall be gathered AGAINST them, when they shall bind themselves in their two furrows. HOSEA 11 6 And the sword shall ABIDE on his cities, and shall consume his branches, and devour them, because of their own counsels. HOSEA 13 16 Samaria shall become desolate; for she hath rebelled AGAINST her God: they shall fall by the sword: their infants shall be dashed in pieces, and their women with child shall be ripped up. --MORE-- |
