LUKE 16 22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into ABRAHAM's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; 23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth ABRAHAM afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. 24 And he cried and said, Father ABRAHAM, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. 25 But ABRAHAM said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. 28 For I have FIVE brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. 29 ABRAHAM saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. 30 And he said, Nay, father ABRAHAM: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. LUKE 17 29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained FIRE and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all. LUKE 19 9 And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of ABRAHAM. 18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained FIVE pounds. 19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over FIVE cities. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were ABRAHAM's children, ye would do the works of ABRAHAM. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not ABRAHAM. 52 Then said the Jews unto him, Now we know that thou hast a devil. ABRAHAM is dead, and the prophets; and thou sayest, If a man keep my saying, he shall never taste of death. 53 Art thou greater than our father ABRAHAM, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself? 56 Your father ABRAHAM rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad. 57 Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen ABRAHAM? 58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before ABRAHAM was, I am. JOHN 15 6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the FIRE, and they are burned. JOHN 18 18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a FIRE of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself. JOHN 21 9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a FIRE of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread. ACTS 2 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of FIRE, and it sat upon each of them. 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and FIRE, and vapour of smoke: --MORE-- |
