The length by cubits after the FIRST measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits. 2 CHRONICLES 4 13 And FOUR hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the chapiters which were upon the pillars. 2 CHRONICLES 7 1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the FIRE came down from heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of the LORD filled the house. 3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the FIRE came down, and the glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever. 2 CHRONICLES 8 16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the FOUNDATION of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD was perfected. 18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to Ophir, and took thence FOUR hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them to king Solomon. 2 CHRONICLES 9 25 And Solomon had FOUR thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem. 29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, FIRST and last, are they not written in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite, and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat? 2 CHRONICLES 12 15 Now the acts of Rehoboam, FIRST and last, are they not written in the book of Shemaiah the prophet, and of Iddo the seer concerning genealogies? And there were wars between Rehoboam and Jeroboam continually. 2 CHRONICLES 13 3 And Abijah set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even FOUR hundred thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valour. 2 CHRONICLES 16 11 And, behold, the acts of Asa, FIRST and last, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. 2 CHRONICLES 17 2 And he placed FORCES in all the fenced cities of Judah, and set garrisons in the land of Judah, and in the cities of Ephraim, which Asa his father had taken. 3 And the LORD was with Jehoshaphat, because he walked in the FIRST ways of his father David, and sought not unto Baalim; 2 CHRONICLES 18 5 Therefore the king of Israel gathered together of prophets FOUR hundred men, and said unto them, Shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for God will deliver it into the king's hand. 2 CHRONICLES 20 34 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, FIRST and last, behold, they are written in the book of Jehu the son of Hanani, who is mentioned in the book of the kings of Israel. 2 CHRONICLES 23 5 And a third part shall be at the king's house; and a third part at the gate of the FOUNDATION: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of the LORD. 2 CHRONICLES 25 23 And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, FOUR hundred cubits. 26 Now the rest of the acts of Amaziah, FIRST and last, behold, are they not written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel? 2 CHRONICLES 26 22 Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, FIRST and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write. 2 CHRONICLES 28 3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the FIRE, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel. 26 Now the rest of his acts and of all his ways, FIRST and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel. 2 CHRONICLES 29 3 He in the FIRST year of his reign, in the FIRST month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them. 17 Now they began on the FIRST day of the FIRST month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the FIRST month they made an end. 2 CHRONICLES 31 7 In the third month they began to lay the FOUNDATION of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month. 2 CHRONICLES 33 6 And he caused his children to pass through the FIRE in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger. 2 CHRONICLES 35 1 Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the FIRST month. 13 And they roasted the passover with FIRE according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings sod they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people. 27 And his deeds, FIRST and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah. 2 CHRONICLES 36 19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with FIRE, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof. 22 Now in the FIRST year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, EZRA 1 1 Now in the FIRST year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying, 10 Thirty basons of gold, silver basons of a second sort FOUR hundred and ten, and other vessels a thousand. 11 All the vessels of gold and of silver were five thousand and FOUR hundred. All these did Sheshbazzar bring up with them of the captivity that were brought up from Babylon unto Jerusalem. EZRA 2 7 The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and FOUR. 15 The children of Adin, FOUR hundred fifty and FOUR. 31 The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and FOUR. 40 The Levites: the children of Jeshua and Kadmiel, of the children of Hodaviah, seventy and FOUR. 67 Their camels, FOUR hundred thirty and five; their asses, six thousand seven hundred and twenty. EZRA 3 6 From the FIRST day of the seventh month began they to offer burnt offerings unto the LORD. But the FOUNDATION of the temple of the LORD was not yet laid. 10 And when the builders laid the FOUNDATION of the temple of the LORD, they set the priests in their apparel with trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with cymbals, to praise the LORD, after the ordinance of David king of Israel. 11 And they sang together by course in praising and giving thanks unto the LORD; because he is good, for his mercy endureth for ever toward Israel. And all the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the FOUNDATION of the house of the LORD was laid. 12 But many of the priests and Levites and chief of the fathers, who were ancient men, that had seen the FIRST house, when the FOUNDATION of this house was laid before their eyes, wept with a loud voice; and many shouted aloud for joy: EZRA 5 13 But in the FIRST year of Cyrus the king of Babylon the same king Cyrus made a decree to build this house of God. 16 Then came the same Sheshbazzar, and laid the FOUNDATION of the house of God which is in Jerusalem: and since that time even until now hath it been in building, and yet it is not finished. EZRA 6 3 In the FIRST year of Cyrus the king the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem, Let the house be builded, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let the foundations thereof be strongly laid; the height thereof threescore cubits, and the breadth thereof threescore cubits; 17 And offered at the dedication of this house of God an hundred bullocks, two hundred rams, FOUR hundred lambs; and for a sin offering for all Israel, twelve he goats, according to the number of the tribes of Israel. 19 And the children of the captivity kept the passover upon the fourteenth day of the FIRST month. EZRA 7 9 For upon the FIRST day of the FIRST month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the FIRST day of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him. --MORE-- |
