JEREMIAH 29 22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make thee like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the FIRE; JEREMIAH 32 29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set FIRE on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger. 35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the FIRE unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin. LAMENTATIONS 1 13 From above hath he sent FIRE into my bones, and it prevaileth against them: he hath spread a net for my feet, he hath turned me back: he hath made me desolate and faint all the day. LAMENTATIONS 2 3 He hath cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming FIRE, which devoureth round about. 4 He hath bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like FIRE. LAMENTATIONS 4 11 The LORD hath accomplished his fury; he hath poured out his fierce anger, and hath kindled a FIRE in Zion, and it hath devoured the foundations thereof. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man. 6 And every one had FOUR faces, and every one had FOUR wings. 8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their FOUR sides; and they FOUR had their faces and their wings. 10 As for the likeness of their faces, they FOUR had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they FOUR had the face of an ox on the left side; they FOUR also had the face of an eagle. 13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of FIRE, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the FIRE was bright, and out of the FIRE went forth lightning. 15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his FOUR faces. 16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they FOUR had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel. 17 When they went, they went upon their FOUR sides: and they turned not when they went. 18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them FOUR. 27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of FIRE round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of FIRE, and it had brightness round about. --MORE-- |
