DEUTERONOMY 10 1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the FIRST, and come up unto me into the mount, and make thee an ark of wood. 2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the FIRST tables which thou brakest, and thou shalt put them in the ark. 3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like unto the FIRST, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand. 4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the FIRST writing, the ten commandments, which the LORD spake unto you in the mount out of the midst of the FIRE in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me. 10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the FIRST time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the LORD would not destroy thee. DEUTERONOMY 11 14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the FIRST rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil. DEUTERONOMY 12 3 And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with FIRE; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place. 31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the FIRE to their gods. DEUTERONOMY 13 9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be FIRST upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. 16 And thou shalt gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street thereof, and shalt burn with FIRE the city, and all the spoil thereof every whit, for the LORD thy God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built again. DEUTERONOMY 16 4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with thee in all thy coast seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which thou sacrificedst the FIRST day at even, remain all night until the morning. DEUTERONOMY 17 7 The hands of the witnesses shall be FIRST upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you. DEUTERONOMY 18 1 The priests the Levites, and all the tribe of Levi, shall have no part nor inheritance with Israel: they shall eat the offerings of the LORD made by FIRE, and his inheritance. 4 The firstfruit also of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the FIRST of the fleece of thy sheep, shalt thou give him. 10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the FIRE, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch. 16 According to all that thou desiredst of the LORD thy God in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of the LORD my God, neither let me see this great FIRE any more, that I die not. DEUTERONOMY 22 12 Thou shalt make thee fringes upon the FOUR quarters of thy vesture, wherewith thou coverest thyself. DEUTERONOMY 26 2 That thou shalt take of the FIRST of all the fruit of the earth, which thou shalt bring of thy land that the LORD thy God giveth thee, and shalt put it in a basket, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose to place his name there. DEUTERONOMY 32 22 For a FIRE is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on FIRE the foundations of the mountains. DEUTERONOMY 33 21 And he provided the FIRST part for himself, because there, in a portion of the lawgiver, was he seated; and he came with the heads of the people, he executed the justice of the LORD, and his judgments with Israel. JOSHUA 4 19 And the people came up out of Jordan on the tenth day of the FIRST month, and encamped in Gilgal, in the east border of Jericho. JOSHUA 6 24 And they burnt the city with FIRE, and all that was therein: only the silver, and the gold, and the vessels of brass and of iron, they put into the treasury of the house of the LORD. 26 And Joshua adjured them at that time, saying, Cursed be the man before the LORD, that riseth up and buildeth this city Jericho: he shall lay the FOUNDATION thereof in his firstborn, and in his youngest son shall he set up the gates of it. JOSHUA 7 15 And it shall be, that he that is taken with the accursed thing shall be burnt with FIRE, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of the LORD, and because he hath wrought folly in Israel. 25 And Joshua said, Why hast thou troubled us? the LORD shall trouble thee this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with FIRE, after they had stoned them with stones. JOSHUA 8 5 And I, and all the people that are with me, will approach unto the city: and it shall come to pass, when they come out against us, as at the FIRST, that we will flee before them, 6 (For they will come out after us) till we have drawn them from the city; for they will say, They flee before us, as at the FIRST: therefore we will flee before them. 8 And it shall be, when ye have taken the city, that ye shall set the city on FIRE: according to the commandment of the LORD shall ye do. See, I have commanded you. 19 And the ambush arose quickly out of their place, and they ran as soon as he had stretched out his hand: and they entered into the city, and took it, and hasted and set the city on FIRE. JOSHUA 11 6 And the LORD said unto Joshua, Be not afraid because of them: for to morrow about this time will I deliver them up all slain before Israel: thou shalt hough their horses, and burn their chariots with FIRE. 9 And Joshua did unto them as the LORD bade him: he houghed their horses, and burnt their chariots with FIRE. 11 And they smote all the souls that were therein with the edge of the sword, utterly destroying them: there was not any left to breathe: and he burnt Hazor with FIRE. JOSHUA 13 14 Only unto the tribes of Levi he gave none inheritance; the sacrifices of the LORD God of Israel made by FIRE are their inheritance, as he said unto them. JOSHUA 19 7 Ain, Remmon, and Ether, and Ashan; FOUR cities and their villages: JOSHUA 21 10 Which the children of Aaron, being of the families of the Kohathites, who were of the children of Levi, had: for theirs was the FIRST lot. 18 Anathoth with her suburbs, and Almon with her suburbs; FOUR cities. 22 And Kibzaim with her suburbs, and Bethhoron with her suburbs; FOUR cities. 24 Aijalon with her suburbs, Gathrimmon with her suburbs; FOUR cities. 29 Jarmuth with her suburbs, Engannim with her suburbs; FOUR cities. 31 Helkath with her suburbs, and Rehob with her suburbs; FOUR cities. 35 Dimnah with her suburbs, Nahalal with her suburbs; FOUR cities. 37 Kedemoth with her suburbs, and Mephaath with her suburbs; FOUR cities. 39 Heshbon with her suburbs, Jazer with her suburbs; FOUR cities in all. JUDGES 1 1 Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites FIRST, to fight against them? 8 Now the children of Judah had fought against Jerusalem, and had taken it, and smitten it with the edge of the sword, and set the city on FIRE. JUDGES 6 21 Then the angel of the LORD put forth the end of the staff that was in his hand, and touched the flesh and the unleavened cakes; and there rose up FIRE out of the rock, and consumed the flesh and the unleavened cakes. Then the angel of the LORD departed out of his sight. JUDGES 9 15 And the bramble said unto the trees, If in truth ye anoint me king over you, then come and put your trust in my shadow: and if not, let FIRE come out of the bramble, and devour the cedars of Lebanon. 20 But if not, let FIRE come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let FIRE come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech. 34 And Abimelech rose up, and all the people that were with him, by night, and they laid wait against Shechem in FOUR companies. 49 And all the people likewise cut down every man his bough, and followed Abimelech, and put them to the hold, and set the hold on FIRE upon them; so that all the men of the tower of Shechem died also, about a thousand men and women. 52 And Abimelech came unto the tower, and fought against it, and went hard unto the door of the tower to burn it with FIRE. --MORE-- |
